Do you feel good when you look good or do you look good when you feel good?

You can certainly look good if you don't feel good.

Though looking good can also help you feel good.

If I'm feeling good, then I'm more likely to have the energy to be sure I look good. If I feel like crap, then I don't really give a damn how I look. Having said that, I do make sure I'm presentable when I go out anywhere even if I do feel like crap...though my definition of that is admittedly more casual than that of many.

As someone who's struggling with illness right now... trust me when I say that feeling good is way more important than looking good.

It's great to look good (and i've recently been experiencing a wealth of "wow your looking amazing" commentary from those who dont know) but if you constantly feel icky it's hard to feel like you look good... and kinda makes you cynical.

This thread reminded me of Chico and the Man.

I would say that feeling good is more important. But if you look good, it may help you feel good. However if you look like crap, but feel good, you may not care that you don't look good and instead feel like you look good. Similarly, if you don't feel good, but look good, it might feel like you don't look good.

I can look good to other people whenI feel like death on the inside. It depends on other folks perceptions,I may be really happy, and faffing about in my pjamas and a vest top and even though I feel good I amsure I dont look good to other people!Lol
