I try to be all of the above...however getting others to do the same...

But I let you hug me, if you like!

Above all else, someone I can trust. And more then trust with my life, but trust to tell me the truth no matter how much I may not want to hear it, trust to keep the things I tell them in discretion, and trust that I don't have to hide parts of my life from them. Other then that, someone I can talk/relate to, someone with a general respect of individuals, and someone with an open mind. I've only ever found one close friend that fits all my requirements, and I've known him for over a decade 🙂

Hmm... when it comes to making friends - I think friends find you. Most friends I made by figuring out that we shared some common interests (with guys, more commonly than not, video games or anime... XD), and we really hit it off afterwards.

When crossing the border from acquaintance to 'friend', I think the most important thing is to enjoy each other's company - and nothing should come before that. Not all of our friends have to be our emotional bedrocks or our lifelines in times of need - we need them both to keep us up when we're happy, and to help us up when we're down.

I agree with most of what has already been said, but wanted to add this: I think the best kind of friends are the ones who make each other better people when they are in one another's company. It's a kind of social symbiosis, in a way. Know what I mean?

wow.. you all are like me.. ok will add all of you to my friends list.. yes even that silly maniac guy... hehehehe for one has to have a friend who is into tickling and willbe the perfect gentle ler :2poke::2poke:

I look for Men with Spines, and Women with nice racks.

Cash, tits and an interest in CHuck Berry and Colonel Sanders. And cornflakes.

Loyal above all. If I have a friend, there is no such thing I wouldn't do for him. And I will expect the same in return.

For friends I look for similar interests so we have something in common when spending so much time together. A similar sense of humor is imperative. Also understanding of one anothers situations and places in life is key. With understanding comes much more including trust, love, loyalty, etc.

wow... you sound like me.. we have alot in common

I look for someone I can be myself with, 100%. Someone who is easy to have conversations with, and who I can be with and not even have to be talking, and it isn't awkward.

It takes a long time to grow an old friend
