What do you think is the right camera angle for a tickling video?

In general, I know a lot of people still like to watch old tickle videos. The old ones are becoming more realistic, more artistic. Yes, a lot of things were better in the old days, but the best camera angle for tickling in a video is different in almost every video. What is the best visual for you?

3/4 view, focusing as much "the action" and the face as possible. For a quick frame of reference, a lot of the classic Tickle Abuse red-chair era is filmed in the 3/4 view.

I really like the camera to be placed back a bit. I love to see the ticklers wicked smile as they tickle. Really don't like the camera zoomed all the way in so that all I can see is feet and fingers. Sadly a lot of newer stuff has the camera placed way too close. Older stuff was better in this regard so that tends to be what I watch as well.

Personally, I set up two cameras. This way I can see it from my point of view and hers.

This is probably the angle that best captures the theme of the video and the emotions of the lee. and it's nice that you've backed it up with a photograph. Tickle Abuse also used this method very well for models lying in the rack. I feel that the spreadeagle style positions were the most popular. Tickle Abuse is expertly reflecting the upper body and feet in two different 3/4 angles for rack and spreadeagle

I understand that we all like to see things that reflect the emotions of both lee and ler. Mostly what we like in videos are things with emotion. “laughter”, ‘reaction’, ‘words’...

I like a good close up of nails scribbling immobile feet. Let's me sometimes imagine they're my feet tickled. Or if the lee is face down, their feet in view and I can see them pounding their fists or flailing their arms trying to grab something.

Yes. I'd like to see the lers reaction regardless of gender. For me the tickling fetish is as much about the connection between tickler and ticklee as it is about the tickling. And it kind of gets lost when the camera is mostly right up on the feet of the lee.

in general if a clip contains feet tickling, then I want to see the soles of her feet well, whether sitting up or laying down. however, I want to see her face as well if possible.

I think the best view is dynamic. Like any good film really- one that changes perspectives and makes the viewer feel like they're walking around the scene. It makes sense to switch back and forth between tickle spots being worked. It can also be fun to see the lers face/reaction (particularly in an f/m scene, in my opinion).

Anything on a tripod. So many video's i've seen ruined with a person who has the urge to move around filming like a crazy person... like I don't care that you decided you needed a close up on her feet, while her upperbody tickling just got serious.

Plus Tickling video are already chaotic and shaky, stable camera lets you focus on just that. To that point, camera angles that show the area getting tickled are great... I've seen some where they keep the camera at the foot of the bed, while they go and spend minutes on their sides which now is difficult to see, and the ler gets the in the way.

Now a days some producers are getting better at dual cameras, so you can say for example zoom in on their feet, but also have a small picture-in-picture of their face so you can see their reactions as well. Always skipped forward when producers zoomed way too far in and you miss their genuine reactions.

I feel the older producers like RealTickling had the formula correct, sort of segmented and purpose driven tickling scenes based on where the Lee was getting tickled. Silvercherry and FrenchTickling still do this, and i feel it makes navigating the videos way easier.
