What DON'T you like about M/M tickling? (a discussion)

I'm a single, heterosexual male. I'm not a homophobe. I have friends and co-workers who are gay and that is fine. It is not my cup of tea however and I don't care to see or hear about their lifestyle.

...And yet it's ok for us to see and hear about your lifestyle everywhere we go? Because thats what happens.

Oh, and drew70, I'm proud of ya mate.

In reality.

We are all "free" to like what we like.

We are also all free to dislike what we dislike.

We are NOT free to avoid all criticism and attack for what we like or dislike.

If a majority of people dislike something you do, you may be denied the freedom to do it, and will most certainly be attacked for it.

Nothing is right or wrong. Heterosexuals are not normal. Gays are not normal. We are all merely of conflicting opinions and the more powerful of the two will prevail. There's no need to discuss anything because we will all continue to do what we will do until we can't, and there's nothing right or wrong about anything. All there is your illusion that you are entitled to something. Straight. Gay. You are entitled to nothing. All you have is your interest set and the measure of your power. Good luck.

um sorry if i went off topic a bit.. he mentioned m/m being gay..and i had to make the point about f/f clips..and the fact that no one immediately yells out gay.

Its a turnoff

M/M tickling for me is a turnoff.I really have no reasons for it.Probably Im straight and Im a male thats why.

Ah but Izzy, it's a well known fact that when you girls get together you put your skimpiest lingerie on and have pillow and tickle fights so a bit of sapphic experimentation is par for the course....um, right? :idunno:

But seriously - that's a good point. Why can f/f be considered as not gay whereas m/m usually is? Here's my take with broad brushtrokes. Girls are more tactile and open with each other in general. I've even seen undoubtedly straight girls in full liplock sometimes in bars. I even asked one what that was all about and she just shrugged it off saying they knew it didn't mean anything but they found it amusing how all the boys stopped talking to watch. Now no matter how much I like my male friends, I ain't kissing them!

We shake hands, slap each other on the back, perhaps even a brief sportsman-like hug but unless you are pulling a friend from a car wreck or fighting on the mats in the dojo, guys really aren't supposed to touch each other that much. I guess it's a societal thing - guys touching is gay, girls touching is cute.

Did that answer the question for anyone? Probably not. 😉

I for one do not choose to view m/m stuff because for me tickling has a definite sexual edge to it now - it's touching in a familiar, intimate way and in private it's usually a part of foreplay. Not all tickling is like this of course but that's how I tend to see it, especially when I am in TMF mode. So as a straight guy I have no interest in seeing "straight fireman getting his cock and balls tickled and sucked by Mark" (lol at TIB, I cracked up when I read that.)

If people: male or female, gay or straight enjoy watching m/m clips then I say go for it, it's all good. It's just not for me.

I'm going to be very literal here. I watch tickling clips because they're sexual to me. Hell, I really only come to this site to find those clips or images and it's only once in bored moment i jump on a discussion forum.

Being a straight male I have no desire to see m/m clips. Actually, I find any male to male intimacy rather unsettling.

I don't care that people post m/m content. It is almost always labeled correctly and I choose not to view it.

Since tickling is an intimate, erotic, and sexually titillating activity, the gender-interaction we [Tickle Fetishists] desire to see falls in line with our sense of individual sexuality. In other words, guys who like to be tickled by women, will usually find the display of such to be erotic or fun, and guys who like to tickle or be tickled by other guys will find the depiction of that activity to be equally stimulating.

You don't hear from too many guys who are strictly heterosexual, who find excitement in watching two guys tickling each other. I'm sure they're out there, but I think their numbers are near infinitesimal.

From my standpoint, as a heterosexual male, I ascribe certain physical and emotional characteristics relative to tickling to women, because those characteristics parallel the desired traits I have in an intimate interaction, i.e.; heterosexual interaction.

In short, guys don't like watching other guys getting tickled because it appears gay, and it appears gay because it conflicts with their own individual sense of what is sexually stimulating to watch.

Although to be honest I don't believe that the m/m tickling fetish is in the same category as f/f tickling fetish. I think they are two very different fetishes (as different as spanking vrs smoking fetishes). And THATS the reason I think there is such high emotions when discussing such things. I don't think they can realistically be grouped into one universal "tickling fetish" category. They are very different in nature.

Probably going off-topic.....but I wanna know. Why is F/F different from M/M ? I didn't know there was a double-standard on tickling.

exactly my point that i tried to make earlier in this thread.. why should there be a double standard? i don't understand at all..

The question of whether m/m is "gay" is entirely beside the point. It's just a question of personal taste.

For most of us here, tickling has (or at least can have) a sexual element. Personally, I don't like pictures with guys in them, simply because I don't want other guys intruding into my fantasies. That's why I prefer f/f over m/f, and only like m/f when the guy isn't too prominent. F/m interests me, pretty much, only when I'm the m... seeing other guys in the pics kinda kills the attraction for me.

Still, just as I, a male, like f/f, I can see where females could like m/m for similar reasons. Gay men may also be an audience for m/m, and there are clearly straight men who also like m/m for their own reasons. Given all this, anyone -- like me -- who does NOT like m/m can simply not look at it. There's no reason not to produce or post it just because some, or even most, don't like it. After all, I don't like most m/f, but I don't go around insisting that it not be posted.

my 2 cents

There are a lot of things presented in this space that turn me off and m/m -f/m tickling is among them.

Other turn-offs include BBW tickling, animals licking feet, non-tickling feet stuff, hypno-tickling, anime tickling, S&M--there are probably more.

None of it pisses me off--just turns me off and I pass it by.

the "look down, look up" test

After seeing this and similar threads over the years, I have devised a simple test to determine whether you are gay or not. It is called the "look down, look up" test, and it works like this (guys only, sorry gals):

Look down at your crotch. Do you have an erection?
Look up at your monitor. Are there men tickling each other?

If you answered yes to both, you are gay.

It is off topic; it would be a very good new thread though (hint hint :bunny: )

Lol - this kinda reminds me of something someone said to me in a groundfighting class, "it's only gay if you make eye contact."

😀 That's funny!! Give a new meaning to the term "ground & pound"

If m/m tickling is wrong then any tickling must be wrong !!! Why does it matter so much if it's gay or not?

That's a great question! Isabeau started a thread to ask that. Here it's O/T :smilestar .

i just hate m/m tickling ok
if that all right with you aun existe amor

Yes it's ok with me if you or anyone else hates m/m tickling but it doesn't mean that m/m tickling is wrong just because you hate it.

i like women....their bodys are softer, and their laugh is more prettier....so that's why i don't like m/m or f/m .
it's something about women i like when being tickled i love it when they are too weak to fight back so they show that they are the weaker sex 🙂. but i don't mean that i look down to women 😛 it's a good thing you are being the weaker sex..so man can treat them right like holding the door for them, spoil them etc. 🙂 hahaha

Quite simply........people don't enjoy seeing things which make them uncomfortable. For most straight men the thought of tickling or being tickled by another man is violating their comfort zone. Another point could be made that most male lers wont watch F/M tickling either.....they wont say that its "gay" but invariably they see the man as weak and the complete opposite of themselves......ie the suave and handsome dominant ler! 😛

Now myself, I have been tickled by men "online" and I have enjoyed the experience for the most part. I am not gay, but I also don't think I would engage in tickling with a man in real life. I am confident in my sexuality but I'm not sure if i could really allow myself to enjoy being tickled by anyone in real life other than a good female ler!

How many "chat room" tickles are in fact between a male and a "female" and in many cases the the male doesnt know.....or doesnt care, wont allow himself to think of that possiblity.

Couldn't have said it better myself (and emphasis mine).
