What is NEST?

Hi there! I've been reading TK Discussion forum lately and I read a lot of stuff about some event (I think) called NEST. Could some one tell me what it is about please?

Hey babe. NEST stands for (god I hope I get this right or I'll be tortured for SURE) NorthEastern Society of Ticklephiles and it is the worlds largest gathering for those interested in tickling. It's been going on for about seven or eight years now and has settled itself comfortably into an annual weekend every year end of April beginning of May. This year was my first year to attend and I tell you what, beyond all of the wonderful tickles... I'll go back each and every year (and some trips inbetween!) to meet all of the amazing friends I have made!

Hey, first we have a "Catwoman" on here, and now a "Batman"...and me, "He-Man" ....hmm..all those times we've been captured and tied must be what makes us crimefighters/superheroes end up interested in this kinda stuff.

Surprisingly, I haven't heard of a Joker crashing the gathering, yet, Batman...
you'd think NEST is something that insane clown would love.

Go to the "teathers"?...We need to be tied up for this movie? Guess it's so people who're worried it'll be another "Batman and Robin" will be forced to sit at least 'till the movie starts.

Thank god, this movie apparently will be nothing like Batman & Robin. It will be dark and serious, as Batman should allways been done (you know, like in BTAS or the 2 or 3 first films).
Plus, Katie Holmes is in it 😀😀😀😀😀😀

The first event took place in 1997, there has been at least one
every year since. Some years they were held in April and October,
and there was even a summer event one year. By my count,
which may be off slightly, as I'm not one for recording things,
there have been 13 so far.

And there's a tremendous amount of tickling going on, the
entire weekend.

This NEST event sounds like something I would be interested in. Is there a website I can go to for more information? Does it require an invitation? Please, someone, let me know.

Each year, once they figure out the when & where, information is also posted in the gatherings ection of this forum. They're always in Philadelphia, PA. There are other locations with gatherings at various times. But, this is the biggie.

Some NEST attendees may be specificly invited at times. But, most find out about it here and other places where the info. is posted or via word of mouth. All are screened and must be cleared to attend before they get specifics on locations. (If you check out the NEST section of the gatherings forum, you'll see info. from past gatherings that will give you an idea of how things work. There are also a few NEST-related threads here in Tickling Discussion.)

There are smaller parties going on all over the country (and in some others too!)all year round, but NEST is the big Daddy.

And exactly what do you do at NEST? I mean, i know now that you tickle the crap out of the other people, but how is it? You just go in tickle whoever you want?

Nope, there aren't any pics allowed at the event. Well, this year there were a few discreet ones but non NESTees aren't to view because of privacy issues.
