What is the meaning of your TMF name?

Some time ago, a guy I was dating had a daughter who couldn't say my name quite right. it came out "kitten" and as cute as kittens are it became my tickle name and then my TMF name... an evolving process that fits me well in the end.
 
No meaning! LOL! Mitchell is my real first name. Somehow, when I joined, I had wanted to be called Mitch. I actually joined in the old insecure TMF room, and when we moved to this one, I was informed that I had to be called Mitchell, because there is another TMF member named Mitch J, so there could not be two members named Mitch. I had wanted to change the name to something cool, like all the rest of you good people have on here, maybe something like ladder lad to reflect my alternative interest in ladders. However, with more than 2500 posts, Myriads informed me that it would be difficult and time consuming to change my name, so I keep Mitchell. I'm okay with it. Believe it or not, I used to hate my name when I was younger, and would ask my mom why she didnt give me another name. I have since come to peace with my real life name, and learned to accept it, and done so now on here as well. 😀

Wish I could take the credit, but no, that's not me in the drawing. It's just a clip art graphic I found online that served the purpose I was trying to achieve. And it gets my point across wonderfully about the sex appeal of big girls. 😉

My e-mail address for the TMF is [email protected]. I wanted it to be "light" as a feather, but that address, with light spelled correctly, was already taken.

I shortened it to "lite" for the Forum because "liteasafeather" was just too long (like this explanation!). Aside from the obvious feather reference, the name is also appropriate because light tickling drives me crazy! 🙂
 
I finally remembered where I got my idea for the 'featherfingers' name! It wasn't as simple as what I originally thought after all! I must have been poppin' too many Pez at the time and it clogged my memory. Anyway, I draw cartoons and was very productive ten years ago. One of my ideas was to do a spoof on Edward Scissorhands. So, I drew myself with feathers for fingers tickling a sleeping lady, (what else?) and used the caption "Edward Scissorhands' Lesser Known Cousin Frankie Featherfingers." And a Star was born!
 
Let's see, I'm in the Fitness Equipment Business and I love to tickle and love to find new ways to mix them up. 😛

Well...I'm getting the appeal. Loud and clear. I don't know, tonight, instead of cruising through these threads, I just might spend a goodly amount of time staring at Mimi's signature...and how I'd like to play with those high beams...
 
I always love to tease my ticklee with a few "cootchie-coo's" when tickling her.....Koochee Koo is just my unique spelling of that phrase.

My American friends continuously mispronounced my real name, so I became "Hal" to them eventually. I have no idea how the "tickling" came into my name though... 😛
 
My initials are DSM (only missing a "B") 😛

Anyway, a friend in high school was reading "Othello" and I was wearing a monogrammed sweater. She just came up with the nickname on the spot. Not that I want to share a similar fate to said heroine.

Actually, the night i finally decided to take the plunge and get involved the name just popped into my heart.

In a Reader's Digest nutshell, the recipe went something like this:
Pour a pound of rich almond "Chica" into a mixture of 1 extra-large 'lee "Tickle" and 1 half-sized 'ler "Tickle", stir well and serve with lots of freshly squeezed "Joy".

It seemed the perfect combo of femme, playful and cute - which, so family and friends regularly tell me, pretty much sums me up. 🙄

Sorry if that sounds braggishly O-T-T. :blush:
