What men here are "BODY GUARDS"

I would qualify as Bodyguard for a few of the ladies here, and they now who they are. And for your information, I would protect them ferociously and avenge them viciously.

Well, I've personally witnessed a couple of different flavors of "protection" both in the forum and the chatroom.

You've got genuine concern for somebody being unfairly picked on. Some guys approach a girl and won't take no for an answer . They keep badgering the girl until one or more of us intervene on her behalf.

Then you've got guys who after one friendly conversation with a girl, lay claim to her and "protect" her from any other guys trying to talk to his "new girlfriend." Seen a lot of that as well.

What it boils down to, is that most of us men here are gentlemen. When we see a lady in a situation that she might not be comfortable in, as gentlemen, we defend her honor. It's not a "bodyguard" thing, it's chivalry.

I asked a group of TMF'ers if they'd come to the defense of any of our TMF ladies. Their response was overwhelmingly positive. In fact, here is their response when I simply said the name "Steph."

Seriously, a lot of TMF ladies and guys are my friends. I don't want to see any of them abused or mistreated by the occasional jackass. We can have our disagreements but there's no need to get nasty about things.

Unless my friends are in physical danger, I prefer to let them to defend themselves. If a friend asks for my help then I will help, but I prefer not to get involved in things that are not my business.
