Well, I call it "forced dance," there's no real official name for this form of foot torment. I call it that because it's the most logical name I could come up with.
The Cat's Eye scene is certainly a classic and the grand daddy of them all when it comes to this particular form of foot torment. I saw the scene as an adolescent. It was the first time I saw my fantasies onscreen. I have it on DVD. There's also a mainstream scene on the televesion series Saved By The Bell involving Tiffany Amber Thesian (sp??). She dances in stocking feet on a giant hot skillet for few seconds in the episode involving the death of Slater's lizard. There's another scene in the movie "The Ballad of Frenchie King" where a female cowgirl shoots bullets at another woman's feet to make her dance.
There are probably mor emainstream sightings out there, but it's tough when there isn't a database for this sort of thing.
Oh, erotic French artist Georges Pichard had a forced dance scene in one of his comic books. The comic book is called Caroline Cholera. I ordered it and own it.
We could continue this discussion in PMs, if you wish. I don't want to hijack the thread, and I'm sure we're freaking some people out. 🙂
