What Technology Did You Have When You Were Younger. That Would Seem Ancient Now?

when my dad was building a PC, he told me it would have two gigabytes of memory, and i thought that was a lot.

answer: late 90s
 
I played with the phone and made crank calls like everyone else, but caller ID is a technology that I'm glad we have today.
 
My folks console TV that you had to get up and turn the dial if you wanted to change channels, you had a choice of four channels!
Rotary phones
Manual typewriters
Food that took an eternity (it seemed) to fix, no microwaves until the 1980s

I had an Atari game system, an 8 track player a black and white tv without a remote along with a VHS player, the list goes on and on
