Do you like like really cheesy movies & laugh your ass off at them?

Or are you the type that just laughs at anything & everything?

Does the ''smartass'' persona describe your sense of humor better?

Or are you the ''dry'' type who rarely laughs at much at all and are just more of a serious person?

I go for many different kinds of humor. I like the goofy-face humor such as Jerris Lewis or Jim Carey. I like puns and word-play. I like satire, such as Mad Magazine or National Lampoon. I love song parodies, and have written a few about tickling. I like politically incorrect humor like the original Saturday Night Live. I like the old slapstick such as The Three Stooges and Abbott & Costello. I like well timed sarcastic remarks in sitcoms. I like observational humor such as George Carlin or Jerry Seinfield. I like the rough urban humor of Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, Chris Rock, and some guy I saw on HBO but can't remember his name.

I like the TV humor of the 60s and 70s. Favorite comedy shows to include:
Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In
Flip Wilson Show
Carol Burnett Show
Dean Martin's celebrity roast
Burns & Schriver
Smothers Brothers
Any show that featured Paul Lynde

Not that it was asked, but humor I never liked would include
Jeff Foxworthy
Larry the Cable Guy
Any of the other Blue Collar crowd
Howie Mandell
Bobcat Goldthwaite
Bob Saget

I'm a "dry smartass".

How about that field goal. The eagles are just plain lazy this year :ignite:

I would say, all of the above, it really depends upon my mood.

If I am so exhausted and haven't slept in forever, I think everything is funny.

I'm known to laugh at the stupidest things, especially if it is something stupid I did lol.

If I'm in a mood, I can get a very dry sense of humor.

But in general, I have a very sarcastic and smarty arty sense of humor. I love to poke fun at everything.

Smart ass, typically. Though there are people out there like Lazzy and Amnesiac and Zero who can get me laughing until I am crying and snorting like a freaking pig over the STUPIDEST antics (and lets not forget Slackers "Noise!!!!" routine or Uni's half hour long rant on "Worth Cigarettes")....it's not fair!!

So true Mimi, it will be so hard for someone to top Amnity's "exit stage left" routine, or when he kept doing his Hannibal voice "Hello Clarice"

Gawd....I STILL giggle every time I get a mental image of the "Exit Stage Right" routine, or "so, Burl Ives, right?" or that RFD running around with the box on his head squealing the dolphin mating call. And we CHOOSE to associate with these nuts?! LOL

i still laugh at cheech and chong movies , and fart jokes, so i guess my sense of humor hasnt evolved much since high school..... :xpulcy:

ack Blue Thunder lolol..you and my hubby..well hmm let's see..my sense of humour..i tend to laugh easily..now don't hate me, but i do laugh when i see someone fall down..not in person of course..but on tv..although one time hubby stubbed his foot, and i had the hardest time holding in my giggles, which was sooo mean of me..as a stubbed toe hurts like hell..dad told corny jokes, in which i would laugh but groan..

Usually I go for clever and somewhat sarcastic humour.

I tend to have a very dark humour which goes very well with hard times. Either at work or in general life people like to be and laugh with me on the face of trouble 😛

One of my rulles is pretty much: "We don´t get anywhere by crying about something so best thing to do is laugh about it!"

I also tend to have a very silly and childish humour in less serious situations.

I think part of me falls into each kind of sense of humor! I guess it depends on the day lol

Hell....I dunno....ask some of those who I chat with in the TMF chatroom.... 😀

I don't really put a tag on how my sense of humor is, really......if I'm gettin' laughs, it's good.

....it's when I DON'T...that this kid worries.... :scared:

I'm more sarcastic with a dry sense of humor. I love to laugh, don't get me wrong, but rarely will a movie or television show really make me laugh.

Depending on my mood, I can be realy goofy and more stupid than funny, but for the most part, I'm a smartass.

Hey, cool. Being more stupid than funny is what I'm all about. 😀

Sick. Weird.

Friends have described my sense of humor as beyond twisted, all the way to sprained. :devil2:

sometimes sarcastic/cutting, other times just flat-out demented

im a goofball and i find real random things funny, like newspaper headings; once there was one that said "Space Repairs" which i took for repairing space but it was about a space station being repaired, things like that :rotate: .

It varies I guess. My good friend Kiki's favortie flick, "Dumb and Dumber" I never got. At all.
But I laugh my ass off everytime I watch Napoleon Dynamite!
XOXO

I have to say when it comes to comedians and comedies. The more sarcastic the better.

I like shows like Married with Children, Unhappily Ever After, Friends (Chandler), Seinfeld..etc. I know they are old shows but they still give me a laugh or two.

For movies its Austin Powers (Dr. Evil of course, not particularly fond of A.Powers)

When it comes to my own humor, I tend to very sarcastic.
