What underdog character (s) would you tickle in television or movies?

I was just thinking about this the other day and was wondering who I would tickle in television or movies that would be an underdog character. There are times when I feel like the underdog myself. You know, the character that you wouldn't normally root for but might surprise you in being successful in achieving their goal.

My list is as follows that I can think of at the moment & they are Carrie White in Carrie, all the guys in the main cast of the Big Bang Theory, Jon Cryer in Two and a Half Men, that black guy who plays Carl's partner on Mike & Molly, Chris Farley in Black Sheep, Adam Sandler in That's My Boy, & that's all I can think of for now. If I think of any more, I'll add them later.

I think of these three in particular as "underdog" characters in that they each sort of played second fiddle to another female.
