what video game are you playing?

Hey, most of you guys were talking about relatively new games. I was playing the vidya since Super Mario Bros. But let's be honest, it hasn't aged well. SMB3 however...

Also, I just wanna say. The Water Temple...is really damn overrated! I'm betting most of those who found it so hard were 10 or under. It's not really that difficult so long as you explore the different passages before changing the water level and remembering where you couldn't go.

Overrated when its your 8th time though the game sure! But when you are a 12 year old kid playing for the first time it's freaking infuriating!

I played through the game, fully, a grand total of 3 times. And with all the games I play, and how long it's been, I don't remember shit about most of it. And that would go for a 12 year old too probably.

You want something difficult try the water temple in the new zelda game. I would bet money that you couldn't beat it without any help what so ever

That actually wasn't that hard at all.

I just beat Resident Evil 5 on Professional, I'm going for the platinum trophy.

Geesh! And to think I am still trying to get through it the first time... The kids keep confiscating the console!

Congrats though! Thats impressive. Good luck on your platinum trophy!

Thanks, I just got it this afternoon.

I've recently taken to playing some older PS2 titles to pass the time. Currently, it's Kengo: Master of Bushido. Oh, what you can find for $4 at the Gamestop.

How far are you? I'm stuck on fighting Vexen. If you don't know who that is, i apologize in advance lol.

Don't worry about spoiling it... I always have a Brady guide. In this case, it's the Nintendo one, but the results have been pretty similar so far.

I'm pretty sure I beat this dude, but it took a few tries. One thing I find annoying - whenever the guide says it's going to be a super tough fight, I usually end up winning it easily (Dragon Maleficent was a push over as was Ursula). When they say it's going to be a piece of cake, I get my ass handed to me... it took me forever to beat the card deck in Alice - I almost threw the machine and disk out (yeah, I get a little worked up, what can I say). Then I got the guide and my life has been a lot calmer lol.

Oh, one thing though... I just finished Hundred Acre Woods and I did NOT find Piglet. The guide acts like he should be at the beginning, but no where did I see a place to get where it described. And no way would they leave out Piglet. So I'm a little miffed and may have to go back and do that again.

Just beat Resident evil 5! anyone else here about a multiplayer VS match they are making?

Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind (with Tribunal & Bloodmoon)
Age of Empires II: The Conquerors Expansion

Aside from RPG and RTS, I don't game much, so I don't frequently play more than two commercial games at any given time... and they're rarely multiplayer; why pay a monthly fee for the privilege of gaming with other people, when the pre-generated NPCs of Morrowind make the average WoW-player look illiterate?

I also spend a fair amount of time at http://www.kongregate.com, perhaps the #1 indie flash gaming portal and community on the 'net.

Currently playing Saint's Row 2 and Mass Effect on the X-Box 360

Both are outstanding games

Left4Dead. Again. On my server, which I bought the other night.

😀

I played it a couple of times at a friend's place (illegal version)

No plot, no AI, just endless zombie blasting, which turns out to be brilliant 😀

Just beat RE5 on Professional, after much blood and carnage. Still playing Metroid Prime 2 on Gamecube. Methinks I'll try my hand at Sonic 3D Blast for Sega and Super Contra for NES. Both straight through, of course.

ANIMAL CROSSING CF (wii)

it's like digital crack without the lip burns!

Damn, there's a second time too? Seesh. I need more zeros in my deck.

Actually, I rarely use zeros (but I admit I did for the second time...). I'm not good at card breaks, esp. for combo moves. But I stack a mean ass deck of high level attack cards along with cures. And dodge/roll helps a lot.

*writes down in notebook

Saints Row. The game rocks but the 2nd version keeps freezing on me🙁

Well, there is a plot - they're just very short and repetitive.

"Start in a safe place, leave the safe place, kill everything that moves that isn't one of your friends, get to another safe place. Rince and repeat x4 and BAM - you have a cool game.

Oh, and don't piss off the Witch."

When I first got this game, I snuk around the Witch the first couple times. Then, on the second campaign, I saw the Witch from about 100 yards away. I got ballsy and said, "I'll fire a single M16 round at her, what's the worst that could happen?"

Well. She leapt over the railing of the porch she was sitting on, fell a story to the ground below, and closed that football-field of distance in about three seconds, her eyes glowing red and her claws held out to the sides, screaming the whole fucking way.

I seriously just about shit myself.

I really do love this game...I run a clan, own a server, and play every other day.

😀

First time I played it was with my friend who did it alot with a flatmate of his, but I never play on consoles so I started out with "wtf is this shit, I want my mouse" and "goddamnit, I can't aim for shit with this" and pretty much sucked. I just followed my friend and when something happened I was like "uh, wtf is going on? I think I might be getting assraped by some weird zombie" but by now I got my accuracy up to roughly 20% :cool2:
