WHAT DID YOU GET FOR CHRISTMAS? OR GIVE?

I got some cutesie mugs and candles, lots of chocolate and a basketball.

But I believe the high point of my Christmas holiday was when I was watching everyone open their gifts from me. It was sooooooo awesome watching them light up when they saw what I got them. I think this was the first year that I matched everyone's personality/ likes and dislikes correctly. That was cool. And I'm content.

Live, Laugh and TICKLE
And HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

(I can't believe there are no leftovers! Heathens!)

The highpoint of my holiday?

A wonderful Christmas Eve dinner with a bunch of my very close friends.

Santa brought me a Gamecube for X-mas 🙂 But I told the dumbf**k to bring me Tracy. 😡

The highlight of my holiday? Breaking my ankle probably. After that everything was so damn miserable that it seemed like the highlight to me. :cry1: :cry1: :cry1:

High points...

Being with my family and living in a place with no snow. 😀

P.S. Sorry to hear about the ankle, BigJim. 🙁 But if you're wearing a cast right now, perhaps some girl will come along and tickle your foot! 😛

Let's See...

I ate dinner with Jack Tatum on Friday night, then Tony Dungy on Saturday night. Sunday I got to stand on the Indianapolis Colts sideline courtesy of Tony. I took a great carriage ride in downtown Indy Saturday and Sunday nights. Indy is a beautiful city. Highly recommended. I went to check out of the Marriot on Maryland Street Monday morning and got a full refund because unbeknownst to me Tony had the Colts pay for my room 🙂.

We had a great snowstorm on X Mas day, and during my early afternoon 6 mile run I stopped and shovelled 3 driveways and sidewalks for elderly people who have no kin to help them. Their smiles, and just their thrill of having someone to talk with, even for the 20 minutes or so it took me to shovel their snow was really the highlight of my X Mas.

The Highpoint?

Spending the holiday with my lovely wife, Ann.
Also our Christmas party last week with the Venrays, Njen, Jpie, TTD and Shygirl.
Oh, and hanging out with the family Christmas day.
And watching "A Christmas Story"(first time) on Christmas Eve.

Drew😉

Actually, seeing the folks was a good thing as they all come round this time of year. Gotta love that, especially when they actually look pleased to see you. lol

England's New Motto: We'll fight to the last Englishman, or whenever the yanks decide to join the war against fascism. Whichever happenes soonest. Failing that we'll just trail behind the yank's armada to the Gulf, unless HMS Invincible gets overtaken in the Solent by the Isle of Wight ferry. (Thank you Tony F***ING Blergh for those defence cuts.)

Actually there were several highlights to this holiday season....

1 was when my son said to my mom.."this is the best day of my life" as she let him decorate the tree.

2 was a great turkey dinner and terrific company at Ann & Drew's last Sunday..

And 3 was when my son opened a present that I got him and he shrieked..."That's just what I wanted" the look was priceless and the smile was brighter than the tree lights...

Best time ever.....

warning, downer reply!

the high point of my day on the 25th is a tie. waking up, and going to bed(cause that ment the misery was over)!
once again, between my wife, and kids, they managed to ruin my hoilday. i really resent them for it, this is the second year in a row!
i made a big party for them on the 24th, and i was repaid with fighting, and selfishness, and no consideration on the 25th.
merry crotchmas

Awesome Xmas

This was one of the best holidays ever!!! I wore footed pajamas all day, watched the snow fall and ate fattening food with my hubby (his dad sends me Godivas by the POUND), and passed the Barbie torch on to my 5 yr old-she got her first one and it made me just ache inside, I couldn't believe it's been 25 yrs since I got mine. That one had a red disco outfit and an afro, god it was cool :rotate: . My 20-month old was just a joy to behold; she loved the snow, she loved the huge toy kitchen Santa brought her, she just squealed all day, and needed three different naps to cope with it all. Santa brought me the only thing I really wanted, the two-DVD complete "A Hard Days Night" set-my fave movie and fave group :veryhappy .

It was just this nice, surreal day where I was a little girl and a wife/mama at the same time, all cozy in our little house-it don't get any better than that 😎

My holiday celebrtion is still happening!

There were many highs, and firsts this year around my house. A biggie for me, I hosted the family Christmas Eve party for the first time. 47 people in attendance!! Not a single broken dish! Miracles still happen! 😛

My son told me that he believes in "Winter Magic." According to him, that is what makes this time of year special. So to speak, that's our "reason for the season."

My 92 year old aunt stayed with me for a couple days. WOW! I dare a single person to say life is rough after spending a night with someone who is about to a century old! She's got a smile on her face a mile wide and walks realllll slow, but she's a life lesson to behold!

And for the tickler in us all, my mom's sister teased me about tickling all day on Christmas! LOL I made the mistake of being barefoot around here! She did this when I was a kid, and it continues today....."Merry Christmas from the tickleman," as she spidered her fingers at me more than once! LOL Got me good once while my nephews held me down! LOL

Have a Holly Jolly ....er....New Year's Eve! 🙂

Thanks Jobelle
🙂 that is what happened to me. Sounds like everyone had a great holiday. I made the mistake of being barefoot  My brother would always get my tootsies every chance he got, and this time he had help. While my brother tickled my bare tootsies, my sister and her boyfriend held me down! LOL They drove me crazy with those spider walks up and down, I kicked, squealed and screamed to the top of my voice, I thought I was going to wet my self! LOL My brother said Merry Christmas little sister, Ho Ho Ho! 🙂

Mine is also still going on, the best thing of all is being with family and friends whom I haven't seen in a long time. So many things to catch up on with everyone🙂 Seeing my Gram again is the best! We use to do so many things when I was a little girl. And she is in good health and gets around well for her age😉 which want own up to just how old she really is😛 I hope that when I get to be her age I am as chipper and still have that twinkle in my eye and full of fire like she has! Seeing her like that is what's all about! And of course my neices and nephews watching them playing and having fun! The sparkle in their eyes as they opened their gifts!

Have a Happy New Year everyone! God bless!🙂 :grouphug:

I too had a wonderful time with some great new friends!

Well I really don't celebrate Christmas myself as I am Jewish but I love this time of year and the snow made it so pretty, sat in the house and made a nice dinner for my hubby, son and nephew who is in town visiting, made chocolate chip cookies and hot cocoa...

Watched some Ice Skating which is my fav as I took lessons for several years when I was young.

Nice week in all...

For the first time in years, I had a block of six days without having to leave home. The original plan was to take a visiting nephew to Duel-monsters tournaments, but when my sister decided not to make the trip this year, I was able to decline family invitations (and even Dr Schlessinger probably would have approved my doing so) and enjoy six days of solitude, during which I got an enormous amount of things done and a larger than usual quantity of spiritual repose. The bad retail season pleased me, too.

The one unfortunate aspect of the holiday was that this year I didn't get to give anyone an elaborate present. One of my great indulgences is to plan and present unique gifts to people (not necessarily expensive; occasionally it's just been to record reading a book, which is a great deal more work to do properly than one might think), but as noone in my little circle goes in for formal exchanges, presents just tend to go from one person to another for whatever reason whenever, and at the present I'm a little overdrawn on the giving side and am in a brief break from present-giving. I did miss that, but for that to have been my worst complaint is an easy success.

Spending my first Christmas with lite; and watching her open my gift (she had ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what was coming - a REALLY nice telescope, w/accessories).

Pre-Holiday, I got together with my sister and brothers and my father - whom I haven't seen in three years. It was great seeing my nieces and nephews and catching up with everyone. And miraculously, there was no fighting or bickering - not even a teensy bit.

I also made a trip to NYC courtesy of a special friend, where I enjoyed the sites and sounds of the big city...espeically the sounds as he took me to a French bistro and Messiah concert...moments I'll treasure for years to come.

All in all, not a blue Christmas for once!
