What was the last movie you saw?

Rick i watched it yesterday on the Independent Film Channel while on the treadmill...i think it probably lost a bit in the translation..but i loved it..it was a fascinating tale..with a multitude of diverse characters..however i missed the ending as my best friend chose that time to call me on the phone..grr lol..i would recommend it..

Cool! I'll have to get around to that one. Thanks, Isabeau!

I saw "the cave" few days ago, it was pretty cool, based on a true story even. and great scenery you'd like to live there ^^
I also saw "Dog soldiers" pretty gore as well.

I APROOVE ZIS MOVIZ @insert flying cat here@

hi runnie by the way 🙂

Wow I was just thinking of watching Howl's Moving Castle again soon, maybe tonight. I've watched it 2-3 times before though.

I've been wanting to see Apacolypto for awhile now. I'll have to bug `em about it at Blockbuster tonight or something.

Thanks for the looks back at the mighty Torgo, BTW!

Tell them that your going to go Apacolypto unless you see Apacolypto. But make it more like Rainman's 5 minutes to Whopner scene.

I went with my wife earlier this year to see Mamma Mia. I want to see Valkyrie when it comes out in a few days. As a WW 2 buff, that one looks interesting to me. So does Austrailia.

I saw the rise of leslie vernon last night & don't recommand this movie.

i just saw a pre-screening of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. i don't like movies like that, but i loved this movie, it had me hooked and i advise others to see it too.

btw, it has a TON of barefoot and sole shots of Cate Blanchett so you can even go on the principle.

I saw The backwoods, which was actually worth seeing, i liked that movie.

but last night i saw finally Citizen Kane and it was brilliant ! how great movie, now i can say that i have seen some of teh greatest movies of all time 🙂

like Mars Attacks or starship troopers 3 , not forgetting the amazing independence day 😱

introducing teh english smiley :£ ( copyrighted ! ) as well as teh US one , here you are :$

I saw "Quantum of Solace". The new James Bond is a mean mofo, no two ways about it! Sean Connery and Roger Moore were pussycats compared to this guy. But like all James Bond movies, this one rocks out in a serious way, even if the plot's a little thin this time around. If gratuitous violence done with style (or at least cool special effects) is your thing, then this is your movie!

The Dark Knight on PPV..ok my take on it..Heath was the best Joker i've ever seen...and i've seen quite a few..ah what a shame he is dead..now about Christian Bale as Batman..well wow..that bod...he has the coldness needed for a good Batman, however i don't care for the voice distortion..made him sound almost devil like..an excellent movie all in all..and worthy of all the hype over it..seeing it in HD was breath taking as well, and with surround sound...as good as a theater..and unlike a theater, we could pause it when we needed to get something from the kitchen..and rewind if we missed something..

Saw Bolt this past weekend on my Daddy-Daughter date. We got to see the 3-D version. Very well done, and the 3-D was realistic stuff, not cheesy. Pixar just keeps doing better and better. I can recommend it for any age group.

I believe Bolt isn't actually a Pixar movie but just a Disney one. A subtle distinction, as the two companies are in bed together.

Valkyrie -- It was decent but I probably wouldn't watch it again given a choice.

i saw Pulse.... pretty decent especially the dark scenery 🙂

Got to catch an old love of mine, recently released to disc. The brilliant French film from 1981, Diva!

remake of The Day the Earth Stood Still...to see a review, read my "i'm always losing earrings" thread..yes indeed a shameless plug by old izzy..

I saw "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button". It was an amazing movie, and Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett did an outstanding job 🙂. One of the best movies I've seen in years!

I wasn't that interested in that one, but I have heard good things about it from people I tend to listen to.

Earlier this evening we caught the recent Swedish vampire movie Let the Right One In. I have to admit, I'm not a huge vampire film fan, but this was quite well done. Recommended. :bat:

Oh, in case you want a sneak-peek(although I recommend going-in totally cold like I did), just clickee.

'"The Hitcher" the remake with Sean Bean...wow..what a scene where the good guy was ripped right in half chained between two big rig trucks..yikes..i wonder how much pain he still felt after the bottom half was ripped off completely from his upper half..i never saw the original..
