What will happen the night after WM XX?

Someting always happens the night after a Wrestlemania, After WM X8 Brock Lesnar debuted and began his rise to the top. The night after WM X7 HHH and austin began there era of the 2 man Power Trip. After WM X9 Bill goldberg debuted. So what will happen this time my picks are...

1. If u saw SD last night u would know the SD roster turned there backs on Heyman, letting the rattlesnake beat the hell outa brock and regain his ATV and with the rumors of WWE bringing back ECW, Could it be paul that does it?

2. The roster split ends

3. New roster shuffles I.E like trades

4. Flair will cost Evolution the tag match and cost HHH his tittle match thus leads to Evolution turning there backs on Flair on Raw, im sure u heard the rumors Ric of taking time off.

Any other ideas???

As to what I would like to see happen, well it all depends on who wins the RAW Tag Belts. If it's a face team it will work, other wise forget it.

Raw will star off showing a clip of Y2J ariving at his hotel room after WMXX. When he opens the door he will see Trish in a sexy out fit ready to congradulate him for beating Christian. Then during RAW on member of the tag team champions (probably the D-d-d-dudly Boyz) will see the CLB & Y2J talking and Jerihco will wave a video tape and mention the $1.00 bet they made. Then the next week the Tag Champs (lets just go on the assumption that the Dudleys will win ok), will tell trish about it, and agree to help her get back the tape. This will lead to them attacking the "Sexybeasts" after a match, and thus eric Bichoff will make a video tape vs Tag Team Tittle match @ Back-
lash.

At the ppv (sometime latter) Trish will attept to grab the illised tap and Jerihco will chace her. As she tried to get in the ring Y2J will trip he chosing her to drop the tape. D-Von will come to Trish's aid outside the ring and end up wipped into the steel steps for his efforts. While all this is going on, Bubbah Dudley will put the Bubbah Bomb on Christian. He'll try for a pin but the reff will be admonishing Trish being in the ring, giving Jerihco the oprotunity to wack Bubbah with the video tape, allowing Christian to get the pin.

The Monday after backlash they will report that Trish hasn't arived, and that they will play the bet winning video tape. After the Dudley win ther match, the Titon Tron will show a Y2J countdown and it will show the scean of Y2J going into his hotel room after wrestlemania again. When it will cut to a close up on Ashton Kutchers' face, and he'll tell them they just got punked. Then the image of Cristian, Bichoff, Y2J, and Trish (with both tag straps over each shoulder) will apear, and they will be laughing at the Dudleys.

That how I would do it if I had the book.

The roster split needs to happen. It's just a stupid, farty idea that was put around to give the illusion of competition between brands after WCW folded. Didn't anyone else prefer it when the competition was just divided into faces and heels?

Also with any luck they'll announce a series of matched that will see several titles get merged permenantly.

The WWF and World Title.

The Intercontinental and whatever it's WCW equivalent is. (You can tell I gave up watching a while ago, can't you?)

The USA and European titles.

The WWF and whatever the shit those other tag titles are, need to be merged.

Are there still two pee-wee belts? Cruiserweight and Light Heavyweight? If there are, they need to be merged. If you have more two or at the most, three singles titles and one tag title, the currency becomes devalued. Get rid of all the stupid bloody straps and let's have being a champion mean something again! (And Vince, this means having title reigns being a proper damn length again! Not a week!)

Jericho will be taking time off in the near future, as Fozzy is scheduled for a tour soon...

A new year of WWE....hmmmmmmm. I think I'll stop speculating and pondering and checking out the endless spoilers on all those wrestling websites. I'm going to go back to where it all began myself...just watching the shows and taking the surprises and plot twists as they come.

I'm tired of hearing all the backstage stuff....it's only ruined it for me. I look forward to being a 'wrestling' fan once more🙂

Okay, so my crack about Davey was getting back at you for your crack about the secondary titles.

As an aside Laz, do you think they should condense the titles?

Good points chris, but I personally think they should get rid of the split roster anyway. I lost interesta while ago because of all this crap, so I didn't even know that the European title was gone. (Kind of a stupid name when you consider that only two of the guys who ever held it were European; Darren Ramsey and David Smith.


The hardcore championship was a good idea, but when they brought in that stupid, fucking 24/7 rule, it became a total farce. In the days when it was held by Mankind and The Big Boss Man, it was a viable belt. They did indeed fuse the two big titles into one, when Chris Jericho became the undisputed champion. They even got rid of the old two belts and created a new "Undisputed Champion" single strap. Why didn't they keep it this way?

Personally I think Vince and Linda are missing the days when the competition with Turner's bunch of artistically destitute misfits actually produced high standards, instead of the constant dross we're served up nowadays.

The titles I'd keep?

WWF Championship (I will NEVER call it the WW fucking E!!!)
Intercontinental Championship
Hardcore Title (Without that abortion of a 24/7 rule!)
WWF Tag Team Titles
Women's Championship
Lightheavyweight/Cruiserweight Championship

I'd get rid of this facade of competition between the rosters and restore the average title reign to 4-5 months.

But then, maybe I'm just old-fashioned.

By the way, I think I finally worked out why taking bumps used to make my bollocks ache so bad. I think I was taking too much impact on my lower back instead of the upper. Jangles the old family jewels around something fierce.

The reason they did the roster split is not cause they wanted to, Its cause they needed to. Imagen they had all the WWF guys and then they buy wCw, and recieve all those wrestlers. Thats damn close to 100 guys. Raw is a 2 hour event.

One of two things would happen if the roster split were to diminish:

1) you'd only see any 1 perticular wrestler once a week, and story lines would just dilute themselfs

2) The top guys would still be on every show, but mid card guys might be seen maybe once a month.

On top of that, PPV prices would escalate. I'm not sure what they are now, but they used to be 34 bucks. If you had to showcase 100 some men EVERY PPV, then every PPV would be close to 5-6 hours like wrestlemania was. I was quite disappointed with WM20, and borderline pissed off about the price before i saw anything. Sales for normal PPVs would plumit.


The only way i see a roster split ending anytime soon, is if the ECW rumor turns out to be true. Vince restarting ECW almost like it was, basicly giving paul heyman the control, and just funding the project, and letting that project take half the WWE roster who could be considered cool in ECW (RVD-yes, HHH-no!)

If that happens, it would take some of the size pressure off of vince, and he could re-open the gates for wrestlers to appear on both shows.

PPV shows used to be shown as normal programming here in the UK. They were only shown on Sky TV and Cable TV, which were subscription services though. Now however they're only being shown for the princely sum of around £20. (I think.)

As if Rupert Murdoch wasn't already lining Vince's pockets enough. 🙁

The reason Vince had to do the Brand Split was becuae Turner couldn't do the Time/Warner-AOL merger if he was doing buisness with McMahon. Vice actualy wanted to keep WCW on TNT, and TBS. Unfortunetly that Idea fell apart, and thus we had a premature invation angle. I also notice that all the belt were on WWE mainstays when the were merged.

The european and hardcore belts were merged, and then the IC title was merged with them, and then Hunter beat Kane to merg Raws "Son-in-Law championship with the IC, Euro, and Hardocore belts leaving only one men's singles champ. Until the wife beater came back as Co-General Manager on RAW, and brought back the IC belt. To date I think


Christian has been the best I-C champ sence Austin brought it back. He would go out to the ring and bark "Excuse me, Inter-conta-nentle champion over here!" then he would bitch about not have a match, even though he held the moct importan belt on RAW (LOL) then he would bitch about having to make a title defence. He and RVD had a couple of awsome matches for the strap too, as did RVD and Eddie.

And if Austin did? Then its over, He said in his book that he had servere drinking probs during that time. What im getting at is should we hate austin forever cuz he made a mistake?

Plus remember if it wasnt for the "Wifebeater" you wouldn't be watching WWE these days. If u remember it was austin who carried the WWE in 1998-1999 with his unforgetable fued with Vince when WWE was loosing to WCW.
