Mine is actually my new nickname that I made and use all the time now (like forums and online games 😛). The name is compromised by GRM with are my initials (my name, my fathers last name and my mothers maiden name), which I used all the time in old school games where you used 3 letters words when you reached the high score. Then I just added the 13 which is my favorite number 😛. also cause sort of the meaning that 13 has. put a and b together and that's how GRM13 was born. The best part is that I don't have to worry about the name being taken :3

Mine is simple: My name is Angel, and I was transferred to the dark side, hence the Angel of Darkness. 😀

Sadly I do not know hwere i got the idea for Journia from...gosh...I think i just typed it up out of the blue, because nothing was there to inspire it. Now stephen doubt..hoho...he was a pimp..

I figured I could play my more vindictive side on here, hence the screen name I chose. 😛 😉

I got mine from a novel by Iain Banks I was reading at the time of my registration. There was a spaceship (with a mind of its own) that went by that name, and "Grey Area" simply appealed to me.

A grey area is usually found between pure black and pure white, a troublesome region where decisions are hard to make - but sometimes I forget all about the black and the white, and I simply see a vast oceanlike plain of grey colour, completely devoid of information, purpose and meaning.

Mine seems downright half-assed and insignificant now.

Say, speaking of: Where in hell is Nephelokokkygia, GreyArea?

It's from Aristophanes' play The Birds. The birds revolt against gods and men and build a place of their own in the skies, which they call -after some consideration- Nephelokokkygia. - It means "cloud-cuckoo-land".

Mine is fairly simple.

after I get home from the gym, I shower, eat dinner, and (if I have no plans) go to the cellar where my tv, phone, dvd, cd player, and computer are.

I can't tell you how disappointed to hear that I am, c.d.

I thought for sure that you were a diehard fan of this flick:

Cool! 😎

Those are both splendid names. I totally love that avatar that FeatherDaemon has, BTW.

Incidentally, didja ever consider spelling it FaetherDaemon?

[Ah yes this is an extremely old reply. I just stumbled upon it while I was messing around. :ggrin:]

Actually no I must say that I never considered it. My interest with the word daemon was a spawn of my old D&D days. Although 'faether' in retrospect is a cool twist. Though at the time I wouldn't have considered it because I generally don't like intentionally misspelled words. Words like 'wyld' (not really talking about leet-speek, more like poser-speak here) annoy me. However in retrospect it is an interesting bit of alliteration. Truly though 'Aether Daemon' is an awesome word. I officially claim it for future consideration in use in The Shrine Maiden. :super_hap

Desdemona is a character from Othello - Othello's wife to be exact. She meets a rather tragic end in the play (like...Othello mistakenly kills her because he thinks she's unfaithful). A friend gave me the nickname in HS because of my initials...DSM. I hope not to have a similar outcome...

den'trag, in the RPG Diablo II, was the flavour-text name of the necro ability "teeth", which was essentialy a magicical shotgun. if there's one thing cooler then a guy who can make golems out of blood, it's a guy who can make golems out of blood who also has a magical shotgun.

Bella Donna - Beautiful Lady

It's also a dangerous poison. All in all, it suits me quite well.

Just be sure to avoid gents named Iago. 😉

Where's my strawberry handkerchief, dammit?!?

Waitaminute. Can you legally do that? :wooha: I agree, though. You must work it in there somewhere.

I was not online here in 2007, but my screen name relates to the fact that the 6AC7 is a pentode. "If you don't know, don't mess with it." (Louis Armstrong was reacting to a question about jazz from a society lady, who did not know the original obscene meaning of the word.)
