I'm all hyped up on coffee right now. I like to try new kinds of coffee, so tell me your favorite.

I'd have to say my favorite kind of coffee is cafe au lait. As far as brands of coffee, I've gotten to like Yuban (especially the dark roast).

Well...

Hot coffee is better than cold coffee, so I suppose that's one kind...

Cream and sugar is always good although a smidge of hot chocolate added is nice too...

Decaf coffee, as far as I am concerned, is for the weak... I like mine so strong that if you don't drink it quick... it'll melt the spoon and eat through the cup...

But as far as brand names are concerned...

"The best part of waking up is Folger's in your cup"
"Maxwell House... Good to the last drop"

and if I have neither of those...

I really don't care as long as it meets the first requirements mentioned.

LOVE Coffee!!!

I tend to lean more toward the flavor of the roast than the flavor of the beans themselves and definitely like the majority of the dark roasts. I prefer very robust, intense coffee, one that almost bites back when one drinks it. I always take coffee black in order to not alter the taste (down here, they call it taking your coffee "barefoot". Honest. LOL) and I really dislike flavored coffees (hazelnut and such :xlime: ).

I would stay away from commercially sold Starbuck's. Blah. I've had excellent luck with Dunkin' Donuts retail bulk coffees. Believe it or not, Aldi's has an excellent, inexpensive coffee that they carry almost all the time. I don't usually buy pre-ground, but this one is a German finely-ground, comes in bricks of both mild and regular, and I try to keep stocked on it in case they decide to discontinue it.

If you're really interested in experimenting, try www.bocajava.com . I bought gourmet coffees from them for a long time, they roast to order and it's not at all expensive.

Hmmm...if you want the best flavor of whatever you're experimenting with, I was taught by an ex who was a professional barista to always buy coffee in beans rather than pre-ground and keep them in an airtight container in a cool place (I kept mine in the freezer); further, he said the flavor of the beans is released right when they're ground and begins to slowly fade over time regardless of how it's stored, so grind what you need immediately before brewing. He also fussed about using the in-store coffee grinder when buying beans because the they were used publicly, leaving a mishmash traces of all the previous beans ground in it and contaminating whatever you were grinding yourself with the residue. (You can pick up a home mini-grinder for about $10, it's well-worth it.)

I really enjoy flavored coffees.

French vanilla lattes are probably my al-time favorites however.

I love Kona beans. They are so good.

In terms of flavored exciting stuff I am very partial to the French Vanilla Cappuccions (sp?) from 7-11.

I really loved a brand i tried when i was in southern brasil. I cant remember the name but to this day never seen it in Portugal nor anywhere else.

I do not drink coffee usually but i also like a good capucino with caramel (?). sometimes there are words i´m not sure lool

I'd definitely have to say French Vanilla. That's one of the best all-time drinks, in my opinion, especially on a cold day.

Same if I had the choice, but mine were from the Texaco stations down south.

Coffee coffee though, Community Coffee's Pecan Praline, medium dark roast. I was pissed when I moved here and they didn't carry CC. So I've been experimenting with Dunkin Donuts stuff. Either way lots of cream, lots of sugar. I'd love to be able to drink it black, but black coffee just tastes like ass.

As for Starbucks, although I love their cold frappes in the store, but their coffee is really a joke. I see 20 year olds constantly raving about "zomg its the best" and all I can think is, they clearly have never had coffee before. :dogpile:

I love trying different types of coffee. One type I really liked was imported from Columbia. It kind of tasted like it had a shot of expresso. I think my favorite is probably type of coffee is probably pumpkin spice because it is seasonal and you can only get it for like 2 or 3 months out of the year.

I like to get my coffee from local shops. I dislike Starbucks because of the fact it costs so much. I have begun to like Sheetz coffee though.

I love the flavored coffees that Starbucks carries. (Sorry, Jay) My favorite is probably the white chocolate peppermint mocha they carry around Christmas. I have to have my coffee flavored, and personally Dunkin Donuts coffee disappoints me. I want so much to like it, but no luck.

McDonald's actually has some kick ass Iced coffees too!

I'm really not a coffee gourmet.

Maxwell House Instant satisfies my taste in the morning. I have found that I enjoy Dunkin Donuts coffee, but then maybe it is the donut that enhances the flavor. I have tried Kona Coffee, but you better have your back to a brick wall when you drink it.:jester:

Any medium or dark roast, with a bit of milk but no cream/sugar.

And if it's a late night study session and comfort is what I need, vanilla lattes 😀

Hate coffee; love the smell of it.

I do fancy those Starbucks Mocha Frappachino thingiees that you can pick 4-pack of's up at Wal-Mart. 😀

Tim Hortons (Double Double) 🙂 ... or Caramel Macchiato from Starbucks.

I indulge in one every day. It's got just the right combination of flavor and caffeine.

Best coffee for brewing: Jamaican Blue Mountain. Buy a small sample and sit back and enjoy 🙂

Well I'll be Damned

My roommates sister gave us some coffee to try...

JACK DANIEL'S Jack Daniel s Gourmet Coffee Old No.7 Brand

She didn't like it.
I'll be damned if it isn't a coffee worth looking into. The two packages of this brand that she gave were sample packs... each enough for about 3 to 4 pots.

Now I can't wait to try the Southern Comfort ones as well...

Waitasecond!

They have THAT kind of coffee in Ohio????

I am totally moving there!!!

My favorite kind of coffee? I like my coffee like I like my woman: an Irish blend with some bite, and just a little sweet.

I haven't had the Jack Daniels coffee, but I have had the SoCo coffee. It's very rich and bitter. It's almost got a metallic taste to it.
