whats your favorite perfume?

I just spent half an hour today looking for a new perfume and finally ended up buying one of those I already use. ( Obsession/Eternity by Calvin Klein).
Which made me think of this thread, so

what's your favorite perfume - both on yourself and on the other gender?

Jean Paul Gaultier original is my absolute favourite. I like warm smells. I also like Hugo Boss Deep Red but it's very rare that I wear that now.

well poor me is allergic to perfume.. i'm talking instant migraine, however over the weekend i found a perfume that i can wear and tolerate it well... it's called...... RALPH HOT a new fragrance from ralph lauren.. a combination of mocha cream, spicey cinnamon, and luscious maple... yummmm

My favorite's Charlie. Every time I encounter a woman wearing it, I get goose bumps.

One of my first girlfriends wore it when it first came out thirty years ago. She was going to our rival high school. I associate it with adolescence and its symptoms; failed attempts to remove her various and sundry undergarments, for instance. The fragrance really makes me feel good. My wife hates wearing perfume, makes her break out, so I have to settle for passing by someone in the mall wearing it...

Bath and Body Works creamy coconut (now discontinued) so their warm vanilla sugar. These guys followed me once in the mall, they said, "you smell good enough to eat!" I thought that was cute.

aww that is cute.... i used to wear a natural lemon scent that smelled oo so delicious. can't find it anymore however.. o and on the other gender? i would love anything made with lime.. yummm again lime on a man, hot hot hot..

That combination of scents would make me want to lick you like a lollipop!

Myself, I'm a traditionalist. On women, I've always loved L'Aire Du Temps.
On myself, I always liked Windrift by English Leather, till they stopped making it. Until someone else makes one that smells like the ocean the way windrift did, I use Drakkar Noir or Cool Water, depending on my mood.

There's this bath and bodyworks lotion, don't know if they make it anymore, but I think it was some sort of melon or whatever. THAT smell.. on skin takes me away...MMMmmmmm. My current favorite for me is DKNY but I also like Hugo Boss.

You might re-visit the site Izz~there's a line that's new to the company but dates back to 1800s (or something like that.) It's by Doc somebody (sorry) and it's a yummy lemon cream!

you know my very first favorite was Lauren by Ralph Lauren, it was actually the best I ever knew, unfortunately it's not available anymore ...
ever since I was checking out every new frangrance by Ralph Lauren - nothing I liked so far...maybe this could be it..mmmhh, I knew you ladies would come up with some great hints and tips 🙂

Yep me too...

I love these scents anything with vanilla tones and deep spices I love. I also love the scents by Thierry Mugler 'Angel/Innocence'.

I love a guy that wears something delicious, ahh heavenly...

Okay. Now, I have, placed on my dresser, various and sundry men's fragrances purchased for me by thoughtful relatives at holiday time over the years. Since many of my relatives make no serious claim to taste or style (and since I don't have the heart to get rid of them), I have the English Leather and the Avon and the British Sterling all next to each other. However, my favorite would be the Drakkar Noir. I also have Stetson Country, which is nice...

Ok, something I know very little about, but I do know what I like, so from the older group

For a lady, I really llike Estee Lauder-Youth Dew (yea, that oldie, I still love it)

and for me the Male equivolent of Eternity seems to work OK
