TICKLE

How does your body react, i.e., spine chills, adrenalin rush etc?
 
There was a time when I couldn't even say the word.
I then grew up, and became a little less self-concious.

Not only can I say the word, I'm able to let (certain) people know that it turns me on without batting an eyelid.
 
I feel a little tingle, I suppose. But that's about it.
 
When I hear or read the word "tickle" it really gets to me. Sometimes I tend to get a bit tongue tied or bit flustered when I read and if especially I hear the word tickled mentioned. Especially when I hear the word tickle and I don't expect it and it is unexpected when I heard the word mentioned in casual everyday conversation here and there, being with a person who is not into the tickle kink. An example sometime my hubby's grandma which makes her my grandmother in law-(long story) she will mention the word tickle just casually and remember one time she said the phrase tickle me pink, innocently-I remember it was hard for me not to chuckle and laugh a lot and hard for me to keep composure. I mean if she was in the tickle kink-she would make a great ler, don't see her being a lee though to be honest. I swear sometimes I think she has got to be-how she casually sometimes mentions the word tickle innocently during lunch or dinner or odd times-she always has this ornery gleam in her eyes.

Yes she does know that bear and me like to tickle however she doesn't know how deep our passion and love for tickling goes lol. Thank God. That is private and something she doesn't need to know-be strange if she did know. But this is a woman that loves frilly and ornaments w tassels on her tree, sometime feather ornaments and ticklish looking stuff like that on her tree-first sight. lol not a whole lot just some. Anyways sorry getting off track. Sorry.

I get flustered and tongue tied a bit when I read or hear the word tickle especially too if I read the word tickle unexpectedly in a romance book-steamy love scene did not plan to see that word. I tend to blush a bit and if I am not careful I can't help but get a bit giddy and giggly and bit hyper and happy, sometimes bit restless and bouncy-real happy mood to be honest, smile and giggle a lot. That is what happens to me when I hear or read that word-also tends to make me physically squirm a tiny bit and it does tend to give me shivers down my spine and sometimes goosebumps, depends on the situation where I am at and the context on when it happens and who I am with at the time. lol

I get very warm and bit rattled to be honest, even if I don't talk or mention it outloud then silently to myself-my thoughts go to tickling or think about tickling someone or myself being playfully tickle tortured, that is just how the tickle bunny's mind works.

It's really like Pavlov's dog. You see or hear the word, and a little switch turns on inside: Either "Tickling? Where? Why wasn't I invited!" for ticklers; "Yikes, I'm gonna get it!" for ticklees. It's like Manchurian Candidate (the original!): How about you pass the time by playing a little solitaire (I always wished he would have tossed the cards and tickled Leslie Parrish at least once before he shoots her. Evil Angela Lansbury. But I digress, pitifully.)

It's not always THAT conscious, but like someone above said: There's definitely a mental twinge or tingle.
 
Seriously, Ticklebunny, your smilie use is excessive. 50 total, NOT counting the broken codes. You don't need that many for ONE message. I get you like them but it's just unnecessary.
 
I feel like I'm going to projectile vomit on the person/book saying it. Seriously. I get sick to my stomach. And not in a fun "teehee" kind of way.

I've already tried. It doesn't work. Whoever made the smiley limit at 50 is a Sadist.
 
Hm.. I generally start listening a bit harder to the person, but that's about it. Not like I go bright red or anything. Nothing like that obsessed.

Having said that, I actually find it hard to say to male friends sometimes. Not sure as to why. Possibly just the relationship I have with my normal group... not sure.

With all due respect; is she really hurting anybody? Everyone here has their method of expression. Grant it her way isn't the way I'd do it, and it might even be aggrevating to some, but she's not hurting anyone.

To the OP, when I see or hear the word "tickle", it usually means I've gone dry in the throat and my ears are exclusive to what is said next.

Interesting thread.

Like a poster above, I used to not be able to say the word at all. It embarrassed me for some bizarre reason. Nowdays I'm better but still try to say it as little as possible! I definitely try to avoid saying it in front of people I tickle a lot because it would add to their already growing suspicion that I love tickling...even though I do. 😎...ooops, better not!
 
Some interesting responses. It's not something I can say quite easily, but then I don't have much reason to anyway, and I think that this is true of many who are no into this at all (unless they are, but unless they're here, they're not going to tell me they are - god I hate using the same word in less than five later!). When I see it, there's a rush of something, probably adrenalin and excitement, and when I hear it too. Though of course this does depend on the situation.

If it really means that much, may I suggest the ignore function? Then everyone's satisfied.

Beyond that, I'm really done with this--it's beyond the silly to me.:woman:
 
It depends on how the word is used.

-If I just hear or see the word it doesn't affect me at all, shy of me paying a bit more attention to the conversation after that fact.

-If someone is talking about some girl having been tickled by her boyfriend or husband, I have an odd urge to tickle my girlfriend

-If someone is talking about some girl having been tickled by her friends, my mind starts to wonder... -cough-
