Ok hopefully this topic would at least be somewhat original and as an insentive, this would require the assistance of the "Foot-People".

Tickle fetish ? or Foot fetish?

I pose this as a "Chicken or the Egg" Paradox, which came first?

Were you attracted to feet and then you grew to learn that tickling is the best way to play with them?
or
You love to tickle and found out that the feet were the best place to tickle someone?

Help me understand the ever popular "Feet and Feather" relationship... feather being the symbolism for tickling. Saw what I did there?? :>

Just to clarify, the feather is not to confused with and taken literally, but figuratively as to represent tickling. I just wanted to end it with a catchy manner.

My foot fetish came first, simply because I could see feet more often especially in the summer. I am not a feather fan so I have nothing to add there.

Tickling fetish for sure. When I tried to tell my best friend in junior high, he kept thinking it was "just a foot fetish" and then tried to psychoanalyze me.

My fascination with feet began and grew from the love of tickling bare feet. Foot fetish sites went hand-in-hand with tickling sites. And, aspects of feet/soles most fetishist find appealing became associated with ticklishness (high arches - sensitive skin that rarely come into contact with anything; long, shapely toes - that twitch & wiggle as they're being tickled; etc)

Tickling came first, in childhood. And of course, the sight of bare feet would send my heart a racing. Over the years the foot fetish developed, but with other things involved besides tickling. Now I can admire bare feet propped up in public and enjoy their natural beauty, and worship feet for an hour without tickling. From the psychological aspect:

Fetishes are usually distinct creations when they form, and have defined limits. Having one does not tend to lead to having another.

BUT, the parameters of a fetish are often a lot larger then one would expect, and can contain aspects of what seem to be other fetishes, that upon experience of the known core fetish become revealed as additional turn ons.

Example: A foot fetishist has a core appreciation of the foot as a object of arousal. The fetish however could have a greater expression in how a foot moves, can be made to move, reacts, can be touched and so forth, thus tickling can be nested within the foot fetish as a active factor. As the foot fetishist explores their like of feet they discover that tickling is a plus to their arousal, and thus come to recognize they have a tickling fetish also.

On the other side the ticking fetishist can also find themselves aroused by how ticking causes a foot to move, or their tickling fetish might be focused on causing response. Some are aroused by the IDEA of tickling, so seeing the object of their desire is an arousal cue. Thus an appreciation of a foot becomes part of the package. And a foot fetish is revealed, though it was always there under the tickling fetish as part of it.

One needs to think of a fetish as a 'stack' of arousal cues. They are rarely 'pure' in that they only work with one specific item/event. They almost always have threads that tie to other fetishes and connect in interesting ways.

For example. My true fetish is Response Control. I like to, and get off on causing my subjects to respond to things I do to them. This can range from tickling, to orgasm, to blushing. It's very wide. Tickling nests under it quiet well, and was one of the primary expressions of it when I was younger. As I learned about myself, I realized that tickling was a subset of my greater like, and just one face of my arousal structure.

Very little is black or white in psychology. Always try to see factors in the context of others, and greater structures.

I have broken this down inside my head and recalled all of my past memories until I was ready to explode... I can not pin point a specific memory of foot over tickle or vise versa. My recollections going all the way back to being a very small child is seeing bare feet and wanting to tickle them.

This is the same for me except, I hated feet as a kid. As soon as I saw the Popeye cartoon with Olive Oyl's soles being licked by cats and her losing her mind... I loved tickling and then thought every girl must have ticklish feet like her! Then the idea of using a tongue became my ultimate goal with tickling soles, again I think it was that cartoon that did it to me. I was too young so I never was going to use my tongue so I just attacked feet in nylons or socks so I didn't have to touch barefeet. When I hit my teens, it changed and women's barefeet (some) started turning me on when wondering if they were ticklish. Watching alot of the MTV beach shows with the girls in bikinis probably did it to me back then. 😉

Sooo.. tickling was always first for me and a partial foot fetish afterwards but again, I don't suck toes or smell feet or any of the regular foot fetish things. I will lick a girl's soles if they are ticklish and if they aren't ticklish, the most I'll do is rub them for her.

I'm a bit embarrassed to say, that I've never tickled feet with a feather. As I've mentioned on here before, my main long term ex gf wasnt ticklish. I tickled female friends mostly with fingers, and a couple of times, ice cubes.

I think the feet and feather relationship is more psychological than physical. Maybe to some people, feathers can be more intense, but to the girls I've tickled, who themselves told me they were tickled with feathers, they said that ice is the most intense tickling feeling.
