Meal beetle (Zo["o]l.), the adult of the meal worm. See Meal worm, below.

Meal moth (Zo["o]l.), a lepidopterous insect (Asopia farinalis), the larv[ae] of which feed upon meal, flour, etc.

Meal worm (Zo["o]l.), the larva of a beetle (Tenebrio molitor) which infests granaries, bakehouses, etc., and is very injurious to flour and meal.

I think maggots are worse than meal worms. :shake:

some people do wuv the maggots. They can debride some pressure ulcers. Now there's a happy thought. Everything was created for a reason and we should wuv em all, celery too, even that little blackish thing that is in the maggot's head.

I will check with the chief wuvaduv on the money issue, but he may get testy... he's an all heart/non materialistic celery eatin kinda guy, so I have to tippy toe around him usually.
