I used to watch The Wonder Years when it began in the late eighties. It was a great show although I thought that Wayne was obnoxious and bullied Kevin a lot. I have been watching reruns on channel 61 the ion station in Philly.

I'm a younger guy, but I watch it all the time when it shows up in reruns. It's awesome, but something about it creeps me out. Don't know what...

I used to watch it all the time when I was younger and then it kind of disappeared.

Luckily, there's reruns on some random station here, so I get to watch it once in a while.

hello winnie cooper

this is kevin arnold i miss you so much. that show rocked that was television not the reality crap they push now later

the Wonder Years is one of the greatest tv shows i have ever seen. back in the late 80's, i watched that show religiously. I felt Kevin Arnold's pain trying to chase after Winnie Cooper and trying to survive adolescence.

the last episode was very sad as we learned the father eventually dies young. the most disappointing thing was Kevin and Winnie do not hook up forever in the end. that sucked. they were destined for each other. i guess not....

there's never been another show like it. that show was that damn good...

Here! Me! I was! :wavingguy

What was cool about the show , for me , was that I was in the unique position of growing up with Kevin Arnold. For instance , when I was in 6th grade ... Kevin was in 6th grade. When I got into high school ... Kevin began attending high school. Some of what was going on in Kevin's life on the show ... particularly his school-life ... was echoed in my own experiences.

Another cool thing about it was that my mom was the same age as Kevin during that time-period ( late 60s - early 70s ) , so she had that connection to it , as well ... making it pretty neat to watch it w/her.

Aaaah ... those were the days.

Yeah the Kevin character was about my same age too in the late 60s and early 70s. And the funny thing is when the grown Kevin narrator spews some sort of pearls of wisdom the opposite always happens. But this was truly a heartwarming and original program somthing sorely lacking today.
