Who is going to be at the Rally to Restore Sanity tomorrow?!

Anyone who watches Jon Stewart is familiar with the rally.

Not really. It's mocking the Tea Party rallies, but also seriously calling for both liberals and conservatives to return to sanity and work together instead of all of this stupid fighting.


Though if you think Stewart's too liberal for you, Stephen Colbert, a more conservative commentator is hosting his own rally called "Keep Fear Alive" tomorrow as well. 😀
 
The whole idea is meaningless. liberals and conservatives will NEVER work together.

I wish I could have found a way to get there, but I'm definitely gonna be watching it at home. 😀 It's gonna be awesome.
 
I was there! It was epic. The only view I had was people's backs but still worth the time. Met some awesome people and heard plenty of funny things. The giant dragon float was amazing. Plus I haven't been to DC since grade school so it was nice to have gotten there a day early to wander around. The metro system there sooo much better than SEPTA. Major points to them. They handles a massive amount of people pretty smoothly. Thank you DC metro. You made my trip a hell of a lot easier.
 
Been, went, was awesome. The National Mall was standing room only more or less from the Capitol Building to the Monument and looking down the side streets I saw nothing but people. Trains were Tokyo rush hour full. The people were all there to have fun...not to be angry or hateful at anything. Just to have a collective breather and laugh in the face of the situation the country is in, based on the fact that we're tired of nutcases on both sides slinging shit at each other.
 
Didn't go (logistics just didn't mesh) but watched it live; not only are Stewart and Colbert utterly wonderful, but any event that gets Cat Stevens and Ozzy Osbourne on the same stage ROCKS :usa: :headbang: :usa:
