Argh, what the hell is wrong with the voting public this season?
Last season America got it right damn near every week. Every single week, the worst performance got voted off. It was pretty much predictable, but HONEST and fair. This season, it's ALL messed up. Camille is STILL there, and she should have been voted off two weeks ago already! The girl can not sing, and she looks like she is in pain every time she opens her mouth. She is another one trick pony, and can not pull off anything aside from her standard, monotone, smoking for 200 years frog in the throat singing. Blech.
John Peter Lewis and John Stevens are two others you gotta ask why they are still there. Are we the only people in America who are not tone deaf? We seriously can not be the only ones with our ears open wide enough to hear this guy can not sing hardly a note. And don't tell me it's his looks or personality keeping him in either, cause he's not much to look at, and Simon was right on when he said he had the personality of a pen salesman. Lets not even get into that string puppet herky jerky dance of his.
John Stevens...yeah, he's got a good voice, and perhaps he does have a future in singing.....but NOT in pop music, and NOT as the American Idol. As Q said, he has one style, and one style only. The American Idol should be capable of a wide range of diversity. John Stevens should be a lounge singer in Vegas.
This last weeks bottom 3 was a joke. Not ONE of them belonged in the bottom 3. America got it wrong last week when they voted off Matt, and they definitely got it wrong this week when they voted off Amy. I was honestly so mad I screamed when they said her name. She is bright, funny, witty, energetic, cute as hell, and has a wonderful voice.
I am quickly losing faith in this contest. All I can say is the voting public darn well better pull it's head (and ears) out of it's rear end soon, before this competition becomes a total and complete joke, and gets taken off the air.
