i went to the doctor had blood tests and everything was healthy and perfect

why is it that wenever my feet are tickled

or someone finds a really bad ticklish spot

hm, that is abit dodgy sounding, get a second opinion perhaps? just to make sure? did you explain the circumstances that cased this blackout to the dr?

Yeah I've never heard of anyone just blacking out before. I could understand one passing out after an incredibly long, sustained torture, but this does sound peculiar. Definitely, get a second opinion. The more insight the better.

That sounds like a good explanation (I am learning about sugar levels myself).

Perhaps, 10 minutes or so before a tickling, you should drink some orange juice or have a candy bar. And have some juice afterwards.

If you really wanted to check into it, take a blood sugar reading with a meter before a tickling.

Not much spontenaity in any of this but then fainting might be too spontanious! Although I'm sure a few ticklephiles out there would enjoy saying that the tickled someone until they fainted.

Are your feet the most ticklish spot? It seems odd that only one tickle spot makes you faint - unless it is also the most intense. That would make more sense.

I agree, this sounds like vasovagal syncope. Do you get light-headed or dizzy if you stand up suddenly?

is there someone you trust that you can have them experiment with you... do light tickles. to build up your endurance.. or see what level makes you pass out.... do you have access to a pulse ox machine to see what your O2 level is.. and check your blood sugar levels.. with and glucometer before.. during and after...

It's not the first person here who's experienced loss of consciousness from tickling.

I'm gonna suggest you clue your 'ler(s) that you have this tendency, and that they pace things FAR slower and less aggressively. We 'lers will do as we wish unless you clue us.

Also, a specific safeword for such overwhelm, as it's usually preceded by warning signs. "Yellow" for slowing down, "Red" for stop. Say 'em, and they lull while you recover.

While that can be a scene-killer, havin' your 'lee pass out on you is definitely an end-of-scene deal.

It's just neural overwhelm. Our systems are set to shut down when overwhelmed. Teach your 'lers to appropriately "whelm" you without overwhelming you...
