why do most think of tickling a kids game?

Outside of the TMF of course. But it seems most think of tickling as something done with kids or only for youngsters. And as we grow older tickling as a form a "play" gets thrown out the window and almost frowned upon. Why do you think this happens? Is it another one of society's stupid limitations based on nothing? Or do people just forget what its like to just have fun and act young again? Especially when adults have so much stress every day, why not embrace a little laughter and enjoy themselves? Or do people just hate tickling that much to begin with?

Same reason some people, but not most, outgrew peekaboo and being burped by mommy. There's swarms of adults that probably do love giving it a go on a stressful work week, but it sure as hell looks weird to the rest of the class.

I hate to break the whole "We know something you don't know" mindset, but we're the weirdos, friend.

I don't really know what you're talking about here. I used to have tickle wars all the time with friends at work. Although, we all vary greatly in age. Some of them are highschoolers, some of them were in college (like me) and a couple were a bit older than me and nobody seemed to find it wierd. Lot's of people like to join in and help me gang up on a few people.

I think a lot of people just don't find the same pleasure as we do from tickling (duhh), so tickling isn't really on their minds too often. So maybe most people aren't "against" it or find it "weird", they just don't care for/about it.

I agree, they probably went so long without being around it, they don't think about, but I wonder if they did start thinking about it again and how much fun it COULD be.

i see it very common among my age group to about 25ish, it goes from play to more of flirting and can be considering playing again, my "little sister" (i look at her as my sister) her friends would give her birthday tickles every year, for those who find it weird, are just closed minded and haven't experienced the fun it brings, we just get a little more out of it. But closed mindedness should be more frowned upon than us.

i don't think it's frowned upon or anything. i actually like the way most people around where i live view it, to them it's just playful flirting. for me, it's that and then some lol
