Is it to get your thoughts and feelings out, for other people to see? . Or Is it peer pressure to increase your ranks and get different feathers? Do some of you post for acceptance within the community? .. What do you get out of it personally? ... Tell me what you think! :bubbly:

... And yes, this is exactly like what Team "Don't Judge Me" covered a few days ago, but the topic sparked my interest!

It's something to do when I'm on my computer doing stuff.

I post when I see something I feel like commenting on, or when I have an idea that I want to put out there to the community at large.

Two reasons. first, to spread the word about the horrors of liberalism, and second, to find hot babes to tickle. :bowing:

I like sharing my opinion and chatting with others about a certain topic. For me, it feels like I create closer bonds with those on here by talking (aka posting) with them. I'm glad that I did open up a bit more! I've talked with some wonderful people, people I would have never chatted with had I not posted a comment, asked a question, etc. Some of the forums are just fun to post in as well! I don't do it for ranks or feathers, I do it just because it's fun! :twohugs:

Normally, I post when I'm bored at work. I have nothing in common with the folks I work with so during down times, I visit forums and post my thoughts when I see something that interests me instead of wandering the halls and drawing attention to myself.

I choose to post because it is the highlight of everyone`s day to hear my words of wisdom !:banghead::neenerneener:

I usually only post when I think I have something worth saying. I do it mostly on my day off, if there's threads that I feel I can contribute to. It's also the easiest form of socialization for me, beyond small-talk.

I choose to post because this is a forum where, if nothing else, I have at least one thing in common with everybody: that we have a tickling fetish.

Other than that, there's mixed groups of people. Ages, sexes, sexual preferences, etc etc, and I take what I can from their posts.

-because I think my opinion is interesting enough for others to read
-for teh lulz

Pretty much what the Dutch Biker Clown said.

I will add, however, that I began posting when I joined the forum (I didn't lurk for any large length of time), because it was obvious to me that posting gave me a window with which I could get to know people. And getting to know people is the main reason I'm on this forum.

Okay.. I've added a few more thoughts to this. After talking with a really good friend i've decided to just come out and ask this directly:

How many of you in the forum are like me, and decided to start posting after a little bit of peer pressure to encourage you to better fit in and contribute to the forum?

Well, I don't think for me it was peer pressure from others. Just more of me putting pressure on myself to reach out there and make friends. I'd see people chatting with each other, making friends and I'd think, "Gee, I want that." So after reading the numerous posts of how different the forum is whenever you become an active member, I took the plunge. So glad I did. Meeting wonderful people (such as yourself) along the way! :twohugs:

Yes, I do hope at times that my shared thoughts will stir a positive reaction from other members. Having "connections" with people does feel nice, and I'm sure that just about everyone here wants to be accepted. 🙂

I originally wasn't going to post here at all. I was stoked I found the forum and thought it was great about all the other people sharing in the same fetish as I was, but I wasn't really looking for friends.

I saw this forum had a chat room so I heavily utilized it [[as you should well remember]]. My first post was because of the NEST count-down clock thing on the upper-right. The website was down, so I couldn't find out any more information, but my curiosity was piqued, so I asked.

I still wasn't really into the aspect of posting and more or less posted fluff after that, just to get a feel for things. Then I began to notice the closeness of everyone and thought that was pretty cool so I began checking back through the forum history. [[Ahh memories of always running into Venrays "raven" siggy]]

Everything that happened after that was just me posing questions and looking for discussion about my fetish and eventually other things. I was never pushed or encouraged, I just kinda chose to.

i post just to post, i guess. i could really care less about the rankings, as it means nothing to me, personally. but, for example, i posted last night about the wind storm we were having out here. it was pretty impressive and i wanted to share it with everyone and, in return, i got a couple replies 🙂

now, usually, if i'm blogging, that's just to get stuff off my chest. sometimes i get replies and sometimes i don't but that's ok. and i don't have to worry about rankings 😉

LOL Amanda, Sounds like he needs it 😛 ... We :bubbleheart: you cars, we really do 😛

This exactly 🙂

I post because it's basically the only thing other members have on the forum to go by as far as what I'm like. And I don't think I'm much different than I am online than I am in person. Course I'm more fun in person but online can only go so far with humor intact. And obviously it isn't to keep my threat post counts rolling, I've been on the forum for how many years? And I got my first feather like last year.
