Why does everyone call it a session???

Why is it even when its with someones wife or gf or something, and your tickling them or being tickled. Is it called a sassion. It sounds so buisness like.
 
Because most of the time it lasts more then a few seconds. It can last a few minutes or even hours at times. So that is why it's called a session a session is between you (the tickler) and her/ or him which ever way you roll (the ticklee)

Im saying why cant someone just fricking say, "hey, i tickled my chick for an hour last night, it was fun." In stead of "We had a session....."
Sounds robotic.
 
Sadly no! I don't get to tickle people/or be tickled that often.....

But a session is just like a meeting of people for so many hours or minutes or what have you. Thats all it is.

You can call it whatever you want to doesn't matter. A session a get together a torture fest(hehe) etc....

I guess the word session is just a more kink fetish way of saying it.
 
LOL~I also call it a playdate. In my myopic view that's what it is...for fun, for play, I'm not looking for romance, man. I sometimes call it a private session as well~no biggie...And it's anything but robotic for me...

IMHO, "session" is a word that -- unconsciously, perhaps -- underlines and reflects erotic tickling's twisty BDSM roots, as it's an accepted, commonly used word within the BDSM scene.

"Play date," on the other hand, sounds to my ears like something I had in kindergarten with the kid down the block. 😉 My point being, it all comes down to personal preference. My s.o. and I rather like the word "session" precisely because, to us anyway, it has some <i>gravitas</i>, and a vaguely ominous -- but not necessarily threatening -- connotation.

The beauty of the word is it's versatility. Others can associate it with something loose and fun, like a jam session, etc.

Generally, I call them Tickling Session...

Unless it's a Camp Lockedown Tickle Stake Down. That is not a session, it is a reality of an even higher order.

Whenever I go to get my hair cut, my stylist always tickles me. In fact I got my hair cut today and she tickled me. Just for a few seconds several times throughout the haircut. I wouldn't consider that a session. But if I meet with somebody for some tickling action, that would qualify as a session. If it's mutually agreed upon prior, it's a session.
 
Maybe someone initially called it a sensation, and got misquoted !

I agree that it sounds so business like. That is why I call them "encounters". 🙂
 
"Encounters" is the first alternative to session that I have heard here that appeals to me. It does not seem easy to find the right word here.
 
It is always my hope that my first tickling encounter with a lady will lead to repeat encounters with her.
 
However, sometime they really are sessions :sadcry: You schedule them, there are time constraints and there are rules, etc. However, if that is the only way you can get tickled . . .

This is true but the word is still interchangable. I have scheduled tickling encounters with some ladies with the understanding that we would meet at a specified time and end at a specified time. We also agreed upon rules in advance to in sure a fun, safe and stress-free encounter.

The reason I choose to use the word "encounters" instead of "session" is that it kind of feels like you have to pay for a session. "Session" sounds, to me, like a business transaction. I have never paid for an encounter with a friend. 🙂
 
A Sesh

Session has come to have so many meanings. I hate the word, but people use it a lot. If they've had sex, then it was a session (sometimes people call it a sesh). If they've been drinking all day, then it was a session. If they've been working too hard, then it was a session. When people say the word session I think about sex or some sexual activity that has taken place.
 
Oy Vey! Sessions!

Let me tell you about my day!

I woke up at 7:00 and began my exercise SESSION which ended at 7:45. All of my muscles were sore so I enjoyed a 30 minute SESSION in my hot bubblebath.

After I shaved and ate, I drove downtown to the courthouse. Court was in SESSION.

From there, I drove to my evening class and learned that I would have a new instructor for part of the class SESSION.

After a long stressful day, I needed some stress relief and, lucky for me, I was able to schedule an appointment with a sex therapist. I never knew that SEX therapy could be so fun! After I paid for my SESSION, I asked my sexy therapist when I could schedule the next SESSION with her. She told me that she will be on the same corner tomorrow night!

I then I went home, ate, and logged on to my computer to check my messages. Before long, I was visiting one of my favorite chat sites. I found a new girl there so I paid for a "chat" with her. All was goind great until, to my dismay, I was cut off be a message which read "Your SESSION has expired."!

Well, let me tell you about my day....

Waking up after a large SESSION the night before, I went to the supermarket for some paracetamol. I found what i wanted in the medicine SECTION and being a loyal customer since the store's CONCEPTION, my store-card entitled me to a CONCESSION. Very handy I thought. I then went home and went to bed since I couldn't think of any other words that sound even remotely like SESSION! 🙂
