Why r there so many gays in the tickling community?

I didn't really notice if there's more gay that straight stuff here. But then again, I never really payed attention to the gay stuff here as it's just not my bag. I don't think you should really worry about it as there seems to be plenty of straight stuff here; you're probably just looking in the wrong places.

I think it stacks up pretty much the same here as it does in the outside world: most of us are straight, some are gay, and some are bi.

Maybe you're just taking more notice of the posts of people who are up front about being gay or bi.

Agreed, and actually, most here are straight, and a few are gay.
Many guys want girl on girl tickling, just because they don't want to see another dude in a tickle video, they could car less if the girls are gay or not.

And being a tickle fetish, I think most have to be honest and not-hypocritical like myself, and say "Look, there's no way in hell I can be fair and say gays are a bunch of weirdos....when I have a tickle fetish!"

Recently more clips have been produced that feature guy tickling, but that's just because a few new companies have risen up, and have posted clips, and are obviously welcomed along with the pantyhose/nylon tickling, barefoot tickling, French tickling, Czech tickling.....

It's just that in the past, most clips were bare foot and women being tickled. But then again, there were only about 4 or 5 companies in ALL. With variety comes more choices, and it just so happens that of very recently, the guy tickling is growing. I'm not into that, so I ignore it, but I think to myself, "Well, I'm happy that THOSE guys and gals who enjoy that now have something for them. I want everyone to be happy, and I'm glad they have their interests being met. Now let me go check out the newest nylon tickling clip from whoever decides to produce it, while they go check out Tickled Guy or something."

It'll never become overcome with gays, just as the nylon lovers will never overcome the forum, or the hogtied lovers will never "take over."

What Eclipse and Goth said. If there are more gay/bi people here, it's because this forum isn't a random population sample. It's a gathering point catered at people who are relatively open-minded about sex. This would both encourage non-hetero people to participate here, and would decrease the pressure to hide their sexuality.

I hardly think so. Perhaps there is a slightly higher percentage of gay or lesbian members here than in society as a whole but I don't think it's a lot more. I do think that gay people are more open and likely to converse about sexuality than straight people and that's where that little increase comes from. But, gay people have as much right to express themselves as anyone else, so who cares?

I don't think there is any predisposition to the fetish that leans toward
being bisexual or gay. In fact, I don't think fetishes in general are associated
with a specific sexual orientation. Most people on this planet have a kink of some kind. It rarely has to do with which direction they lean sexually.

Aside from that I haven't really paid close attention, but I don't think the numbers are accurate. I tend to pay closer attention to what people say and how they say it than to if they are gay. 😉

I remember a few years ago, a member here, who was openly gay, complaining that there were so few others who were into this pursuit. He endlessly droned on to me how difficult it was to find someone else who was into it like he was. And you're saying it's 60%.

I agree with Eclipse. I've never noticed either and it doesn't really matter to me. Everyone here is so awesome so who they sleep with is irrelevant. And probably none of my business. Life is to short, so have fun, and just keep it legal.

Never really paid much attention. If it seems that way, maybe it's because someone who isn't straight feels accepted for who they are on the forum and feels relaxed enough to be open and be themselves. I find that pretty cool actually.

There are a lot of lurkers on here. I'm willing to bet that there are a lot of straight folks in that population.
