If I had to guess I presume he's talking about the issue where TIB claimed to have a transcript of a conversation about clip trading. Other information came to light that made the transcript seem altered and fake. Instead of defending the transcript TIB got upset, sold his business, and left. (subsequent appearance of TIW not related in the least)

At least that's what I think this is about.
