Windows Movie Maker help?

Here is what I do:

Each vid I want to include in a compilation I import first. Then it appears in the upper center part of the window (and the previous import will disappear). Then I drag the vid from the upper center part of the window to the storyboard on the lower part of the window. There I split some of the clips and throw parts away I don't want. FInally I save the resulting vid.

For me this works fine, I hope it helps!

Great! Looking forward to seeing some awesome clip posts by you 😉

Hopefully, I'm posting this in the right forum.

I've been trying to join some clips with Movie Maker and getting nowhere. If I understand it right, you're supposed to place the clips on the storyboard, hit Shift (or Control) and then select Combine from the Clips menu. But whenever I try this, the Combine option is inactive. I've tried reading their help section and all it really says is what I posted above.

Why can't I get this to work? And is there another way I can join clips?

just highlight the clips while they are up in the center ,,, when they are highlighted ,,,go to tools or one of those where you can hit the "combine button" and there ya go,,
