Can someone tell me why, when it is snowing while you are driving, that 80-90% of the time,it is the driver's side windshiled wiper blade that gets clogged up with snow, leading to streaking.Which of course leads to not being able to see as well as you want to.

It is not like my wiper blades are bad.

Murphey's Law, I suppose since it happens to me all the time in the winter.

Maybe it's the lane you drive in? The driver's side likely gets more spray from the passing lane as well as the cars directly in front of you? *shrug* I don't know. But, it sounds somewhat reasonable.

Yep. Just like the biggest, juiciest insect always hits the windshield right at eye level.

Thank you.

I was seriously wondering if it was just me... <a href="http://www.glitter-graphics.com"><img src="http://dl4.glitter-graphics.net/pub/355/355344zk0j35pjxd.gif" width=34 height=18 border=0></a>

Since you're providing evidence it really does never fail to happen to the @#$%!! left windshield wiper in the United States,
I wonder if British drivers have the same problem, or is this Mother Nature telling us to move the hell over? :disgust:

Ever tried hitting your windshield with a good coat of RainX? The stuff helps.

Years back,I was told not to apply Rain X in the winter.I was told the first time it snows, and you hit your wipers,it will smear real bad.

And its always dead smack in the middle to. not at the top or bottom of the blades. :beathorse:

That does make sense.

Yep, doesn't seem to matter which lane you're in. Also, the passenger side of the windscreen always thaws 10 times quicker than the driver's side too. Really handy if your passenger enjoys sight-seeing and you don't want to see where you're going 🙁

I'm not sure but maybe its an issue with defrosters? Mine does it sometimes but if I crank up the heat enough it stops but then my car becomes an oven.

I keep nothing over the defroster vents for the windshield.Sometimes that helps with the problem.Sometimes it doesn't.
