WM 26: Undertaker or HBK? Who do you think will win?

Now that I think about it, if Shawn is planning to retire lagit after this match, why isn't he trying to help build somebody on the way out?

Personally, I would have loved to have seen CM Punk in this angle against HBK. After the initial challenge againsy Taker, have Punk come out and bring up Michaels' old Demonsof drug and drink and say this is just another example of his weakness and the he needs to accept SES as his true salvation. Have them run into a match where either Michaels retires of the SES had to disband. Have Punk win and cement his status as the company's top heel.

A much less winded view of my thoughts on Flair vs MVP. Putting it mildly these two (Flair/HBK) are pretty selfish. Although as I understand it CM Punk was on the shit list for mouthing off to Taker, so his being involved with HBK for this type of match would be unlikely.

It the biggest night of wrestling. Would I rather see Ric Flair v. Shawn Michaels or Ric Flair v. MVP? A real-life friendship playing out on TV or a contrived storyline to push a wrestler who would still be a mid-card?

It's not every wrestlers responsibility to put over a rising wrestler. It's the responsibility of that wrestler and the promotion to find a way to get over. Shawn and Flair have done a lot to help younger wrestlers in their careers.

I don't see why we even needed Taker-HBK II. Last year's match was okay, but I didn't think it was one of the best matches I've seen or anything. I also don't see WWE ever ending Taker's WrestleMania streak. They can milk that every year as long as Taker is wrestling, "will he lose this year?" Next WrestleMania just won't be the same if Taker isn't still undefeated.

I think Shawn's gonna lose, because I have a feeling he's going to TNA. The way he conveyed things when he was speaking last week, "After WM, I may no longer be the Heartbreak Kid--I may no longer even be Shawn Michaels, anymore, yada yada yada," because all those names are WWE trademarks, he's probably gonna go to TNA, but could he be taken seriously as Shawn Hickenbottom?

The reason we have Taker HBK 2 is simple , since the match last year no new talent has been built up * aside from Shamus and the only reason is because Triple H is friends with him and when he asks him to lay down he will do it without a fight or objection * . If the WWE got their heads out of their asses and actually pushed new talent and had the older guys put them over WM might actually be tolerable this year but like last year the match that will carry the show is HBK vs Taker .

As for the outcome of the match I would love to see HBK break the streak that would actually make things intresting but knowing the WWE its gonna be a predictable match with false finishes and finally Taker winning .

There's no way in hell.

He's either going to wrestle for McMahon or retire.

Idk where you pulled that out of but no way . If Shawn didn't leave with Scott Hall and Kevin Nash for WCW at WCW's peak theres no way he would go to TNA .

DAMN........Undertaker/Shawn Micheals 2!!! This had to be one of the greatest matches of all-time!!!!

Taker/Michaels 2, I'm happy for you, and I'm-a let you finish, but Taker/Michaels 1 is one of the greatest matches of all time!

How original lol .

If you go to WWE.com there is a video of Shawn backstage being applauded and kissing his wife and chatting with Bret so yeah HBK is gone and hopefully they give him a big send off on Raw tonight

He was under contract and couldn't leave. Believe me if they had offered him 3 million a year to jump over to Turners company he might have given Vince a chance to match it, if not he would have skipped out just like Hall and Nash did.

It would have been better for business in the long run. Mind you WWE doesn't think long term, they think "What will make us money tonight and fuck the next 5-10 years.

So it was Steve Austins fault that he couldn't catch a break in WCW, not the fact that the established stars (including and ass hole named Flair) refused to work with him. Blaming a wrestler (with talent) for not getting over is like blaming an actor for a lame script. The power that be make or break you, and part of that group includes the established stars. If Flair or Michaels had any class they would have used there "last" match to help build another star, that is how the industry continues, the new stars are built on the backs of the established ones. The only reason guys like Austin and the Rock were able to develop was because McMahon was desperate and all his established guys (except for Hart) had jumped over to WCW or quietly retired.
