Is it just me or do women seem to toss aside the nice guy who would treat them with respect and go for the jerk who completely treats them like crap then gripe about why they can never meet a nice guy.................just thinking about it gives me a brain fart 🙁 🙁 🙁

That is something that often baffles me as well. Kind of makes ya wonder... "If I act like a jerk, will I get more pussy? Hmmm..."

OK, I never accused you of being logical (but that was before you said you draw relationship graphs! EEEEWWW!). I actually said you were the opposite but nvm.

And consider this side: A "nice guy" goes through his whole life with good intentions. He is selfless. He watches his youth go by as women he FALLS IN LOVE WITH toss him aside for guys who don't even care about her, nevermind love her. She gives her love to men who toy with her emotions and chuck her aside like a piece of crap, and she even goes back to them! And she comes to her nice guy friend to complain about it! How do you think that feels? These men haven't reached this conclusion through stubbornness - Don't call them stubborn and closed-minded: Their hearts have been broken, and you think your post on the TMF is going to mend that?

i definitely can't speak for all women, so i'll just speak for myself. i've dated 2 very nice guys. guys who would give me the world, and i'm still really good friends with them. but know what? they both broke up with me. and i was devastated both times. maybe we have to accept that it happens to men and women alike.

maybe its a societal problem. there's so many love advice articles out there that instruct women to look for the exciting nice guy (and i know i promoted it myself, so i apologize) and instruct the men to look for the spunky caring lady. what they're doing is just targeting 1 or 2 personality types and making that the ideal. of course, with a relationship pool of billions of people from different backgrounds, beliefs, etc, there's just no way everyone is like that ideal. so society tells us its not good enough. if i don't find THE nicest guy in the world, i'll just keep looking. that's the trap i feel like i'm in.

and the "cold hard logic" i was referring to was what was absent in the nice guys who won't believe that women ever choose them. our gut reaction for a lot in this topic is to speak with how we feel...broken hearts, just like you said.

I think most nice guys just come off as lacking confidence, excitement and appear too needy. when i meet a woman i never shower her with compliments or kiss her ass. i pretend like im doing her a favor if she wants to go out with me. most women dont want dime a dozen ass kissers. guys who constantly buy them gifts and tell them they love them after a week. that shows weakness and lack of confidence. you can still be nice, but you must also be a bit cocky in a fun way, and be funny.

From what ive learned in my time being old enough to fancy girls, girls tend to just friend the nice guys and such. They tend to date\wanna be with the arses tho in a physical relationship sense.
