Wednesday, it got up to like 78 degrees, sunny, tanning weather...

Today, we've got a nor'easter blowing out there, giving us the worst sleet storm we've had in many years.

One of the mechanics in my place said, "it's the End Of Days!" 😀

Here in the Nation's Capital, we also had a glorious Wednesday, just as Knox described. Thursday, it chilled off, and began raining which lasted all night and most of today until it turned to snow and sleet all afternoon.

Old man winter never goes out easily here in the mid atlantic states.

Wendesday was around 78 here also,but back to the 50's yesterday and today.Dry though,and it will be back up in the 60's-70's next week.I hope you all thaw out soon.

ok, I really really really understand, that you don't like this kind of weather and you wanna get rid of it as quickly as possible, but do you really have to send it over here - to me???
We've had THE perfect winter so far, no snow at all and temperatures around 50 degrees mostly. The last couple of days here were around 65° with bright sunshine - really made me happy - and now since this morning my radio wont stop telling me we will have the worst week of winter starting on monday with temperatures dropping like crazy and they keep warning us about heavy snow falls, chaos and all this s**t nobody really needs.
Now that I know, where it's coming from - can I please ask you to do me a BIG favour and just send it somewhere else. 😉 😀 😉

Yeah, 78 last Wednesday, 32 on Friday/Saturday and 60's next week again.
Ummm, I wonder how many people will be very SICK next week with all the up and down weather 🙁

I had loads of fun driving big rig today in eastern Pa on the turnpike It wasn't so bad with the trailer I had on a little over 35,000 lbs on it But then I had to bobtail home It got worse as the day went on Mostly sleet It may snow 8-12 inches overnight in Lancaster county,Pa overnight

82 here today and all weekend. Unfortunately, we never have shortage of sun here. What we desperately need is some RAIN!

It's finally stopped. I looked out at my car, and only see a light covering on the windows. Not bad for having gotten home at 5:30.

I can't complain about the commute. Traffic by the time I left work was relatively light...and it moved. I was so tired last night I was out by 8:30.

If the sun comes out today, it should do a fair job of melting things...

We had about four to five inches of snow here, and somewhat of an ice storm. Luckily, which is not always the case, we kept our power this time. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny and 40, and then it is supposed to warm up to as high as 65 later this week. Hopefully, this snow will be the last of it for the season.

the stupid thing is, David is away in Killington with my son and I had to get out 1st thing this morning to go get meds for my dad, my neighbor hadn;'t plowed my driveway for me yet and my street was not yet plowed, well got my daughter in my little suburu and chugged my way out of the driveway...I did the persistant back and forth until I could get enough traction to get out.

I think my whole body's broken. I went out to shovel this stuff yesterday, and I'm taking the shovel, and bashing the edge, over and over, on the ice on my driveway. I finally stopped. I felt like I was in a Warner cartoon, like when Wile E. Coyote's vibrating like a tuning fork after some mishap. It took a long time for the white pellets to work, before I was able to go out and continue.

A strange form of sleet, instead of dealing with the kind of ice you find in cubes in your freezer, this turned into a very hard packed, heavy snow. We got like four inches worth. All this after the fantastic weather on Wednesday...
