World of Warcraft! This time with tickling. Night Elves and all that jazz.

In the fine tradition of many other artists who've undertaken WoW as the subject of their art (I'm especially looking at you Khali), I've decided to put sacrifice my hands yet again to create another picture for your enjoyment. This time the subject is my main, who I've enjoyed killing many hours with this past year or so. She's a Night Elf hunter who appears to have tried to invade Mulgore single-handedly. Unfortunately for her, a Tauren druid was there to defend his homeland. Next time she'll have to step twice as fast to avoid any Horde entanglements.

And poor girl got her boots taken, too. That means she's not getting the extra +10 fire resistance from having the complete set.

I'm not really familiar with World of Warcraft, but it has indeed inspired some exceptional artwork, of which this is a fine example! This may, in fact, be the most professionally polished piece you've offered thus far, Sammi! Composition is nicely balanced (while supplying the needed asymmetry to seem natural), the heavy shadowing pays great dividends in a believable outdoorsy atmosphere, colors are pleasantly earthy and muted, and the expert execution of the special effects (the mist, the mystic glowing hand gyrations) amply add the needed magic for a convincing fantasy scenario! Nice attitude, too... the Tauren positively swells with smug self-satisfaction! I prefer original characters to fan-art, but it's impossible to argue with success! This works big time!

But this Pic is yet another jumping for joy moment as the Night Elf Huntress has her boots taken, then gets her feet tickled within an inch of her life! ^o^

I wonder how many users actually think of this same experience when they get Rooted by Entangling Roots. Makes me giddy with glee ta see more WoW tickle pictures starting to sprout up 🙂 I've had it in my mind too ta do a pic jus like this- but I never get around to it. Guess ya beat a few people Sammi lol.

The reason I mentioned Khali in my first post is because she was the first to use that spell in a tickling pic. Lovely image, colors are great and as stated above, the tauren's smug expression (not to mention your poor hunter's) are perfect for the scene. Of course, I really love the scenario...entangling roots is just such a perfect spell for something like this (as long as it doesn't backfire 😉 ). In such a NE-ish mood lately... hm... 😉

I never played WoW (only got as far as Warcraft III), so I don't know everything about it, but this sure is a great drawing, Sammi! It never ceases to amaze me to see your drawing style evolve, in such a fast and improving way. absolutely great. Can't wait to see your next piece of art! 🙂
