Anyone remember Warrant? They always made me cringe when the girls used to scream for them and their songs were so unbearably bad. Some of these glam bands made you glad when Nirvana came on the scene and wiped out the entire genre.

I agree 110% on that one. That's not REAL metal though...that's the bullshit thats been passing for metal since the early 90s (kinda like punk - it was truely gone by the early 80s). Though for metal, there are still some great REAL metal bands out there. They're just not in the US or UK. Germany has some damn good ones.

But if I had to choose one, it would be my old friend Charlies band "Anthrax"
I used to listen to those guys and the only thing that would stick in my head would be their cover of " eighteen "

In complete and total honesty;

I think bad religion is the most retarded band in the world. I tried to listen to their songs and they just made Guns N Roses sound good. And I fucking HATE GnR with a passion.

Try at what? I'm being completely honest. I don't care if they were a pop group. A few bands listed here I wouldn't consider to be Metal, so it's all a matter of opinion. 🙂
