I hope you find that, Artoo. I really do. But in my case, when that love gets ahold of you it's not your interests that should concern you, but hers. And if you are lucky to have what I had for a short number of years she will think the same way. It makes both people stop and really consider just what is truly important to the other person. You may have to give up something and she may have to give up something too. And if you both do so willingly then you have found what I did long ago. And it is the best feeling in the world.

if i ever get a date or find some one i would cross that bridge when i got there. Until then all i could say is that she would i hope except it she would not have to be into it just except it. being single for ever is kinda nice cause you never have to deal with this stuff but then it sucks not having anyone.. if she was my soul mate she would support me. doesn't have to be into it but couldn't hate it or think i was weird. my 2 cents later kyle

Very true statement. If you believe in "true love" and you are lucky enough to find it, tickling would probably be an afterthought. I, like many of you, associate tickling with sex. Now granted, sex is an important part of a relationship, but its not the only part and shouldn't be the most important part. If you have a strong enough connection with the person, not being ticklish would go in the "cons" list for sure, but definitely wouldn't be a deal breaker for me. In fact, I would go as far as asking myself, "would I still love this person if he/she wasn't ticklish?" If the answer is no, then I doubt it was meant to be.

Yeah, absolutely. Don't get me wrong I love tickling and all, but I don't think that it is a requirement for love. If I found someone that was right for me in every way but that, I would learn to deal with it. Let's face it, no one is perfect. I'd rather they not be ticklish than have some unbearable personality flaw or something.

Honestly, I'd be fine if they weren't into tickling as long as they were cool with me being as involved in the community as I am. If they had a problem with that, I'd be hesitant to call it "true love." Don't know if I could love someone that was that controlling and unwilling to understand me.

Intresting question Bugman,
In hindsight Ive had relationships with woman who were not ticklish or were and hated it. Ive been lucky enough to find a person who is deeply into as I am. But as I get older I dont think a relationship would hinge on that one aspect. But with all that said well this very website is partly here for that very reason isn't it?
I think it really depends on the two people involved and some may have a loving relationship yet seek to indulge in their fantasy elsewhere on a platonic level and others out of love may simply opt to give it up.

I am with my sould mate..he is kinda a vanilla.. but will tickle me.. so it's all good.. heis not into it as I am.. but he is coming to the Michigan gathering with me to get a understanding what it is all about... now that is love.. coming to something he does not have an interest in to make sure I am safe.
