If I didn't know them all that well, I'd want small talk to warm up. If we were already close, I could see a situation where I'd just get pounced. Although this doesn't mean I wouldn't try to tickle back.

Along that, I'd rather have a more intimate connection with a tickle partner than a playful friendship. I can see the appeal of a playful friendship, but in the end, tickling turns me on. I think I'd eventually have trouble emotionally/sexually there, so I don't think it'd end well.

As a ler or lee, would you rather the tickler know all the lee's best tickle spots beforehand, or figure it out from scratch? (ha.)
 
As a lee or a ler, I'd rather that the ler knows all the best spots already - it just gives them more options about how they tickle the lee.

If you're the lee, would you rather the ler was wearing about as much/as little clothes as you? Or that they be fully clothed?

Surprise tickles probably have a greater effect sensation wise, but the feeling of anticipation with seeing the tickles coming is second to none so I can't go past that one.

Just enough to cover, but generally whatever the lee feels comfortable in is best.

I'd rather I'm more familiar with. I'd be more comfortable. So the person I'd be dying to tickle, but would only go so far. I'm clearly into this person, so there's that as a bonus. Presumably they aren't a total stranger.
