WTF: Death and Rebirth (Death)

This is the beginning of the new "WTF" I said I was going to start. Or rather, it's the end of the old-skool WTF (hence "death" - the next one will be "rebirth").

A couple of people have mentioned in passing that they were looking forward to this - unfortunately, this means that it is extremely over-hyped. My comic-drawing/writing skills are comparable to those of something with no comic drawing/writing skills.

I was going to post the two in the same thread, but seeing as it's taking my lazy ass so long to get them done, I decided I'd best do them seperately. It's not exciting, it's not funny, it's not well-drawn, and it certainly won't make any sense, but hopefully, when I finish "Rebirth" it will make a bit more sense (but it still won't be anything special).

So here we go:

I am up a bit late... I was originally lying in my comfy-ass mohfuggin bed, with a fat pile of books, but for some reason I came in here, saw a pile of WTF next to the scanner, and felt a teensy bit inspired. I've done a bit of "Rebirth" as well (I've written all of it and drawn some of it).

When Senshi's head needs emptying, he usually uses MSWord. The time I've spent typing anything that comes to mind... Megabytes upon megabytes of verbal crap. "I really like this wallpaper - it's a nice colour. Going to have mild green originally, but decided to go with the beige. My fingers hurt from typing. I fancy a cup of tea..." etc etc for pages at a time.

I'm doing it now without realising. Look at the size of this post! >_<;;

Wrong! It is pretty darned funny, and the drawing style is charming in its simplicity! As for making sense, I'd be shattered if WTF ever became lucid... its easy-going anarchic quality is what I enjoy about it most! Looks like "Death and Rebirth" has assembled a rather grim team (the short-tempered scrarred guy scares me... good!) I don't know why, but I'm sure it will end in tears! Some hilarious background humor, like Scarred Guy clutching the articulated spine and rib-cage of his pal, or Johnny the Knife's underling wailing "Nooooo!" over the tattered remains of his hat! Keep it up! We're now Dead... you can't leave us that way!

Rest assured, "Rebirth" is on its way. 😛 Hopefully then we can make head, tail, or even both, of the new, revamped WTF.

I often neglect the non-tickling forum only because it is lower on the list and I run out of time.
When I saw more fractures on your sig in another thread, I knew just where to go.

I agree again with LBH, the non-lucid style is what makes it surprising and wonderous strange, like an alternate, less limited universe. I read it, smile and think "WTF, I didn't see that coming!"

My consulting work is picking up, which may mean a lot less time for TT, but "WTF" will be a must see.

For all of those curious, I have made a photo-documentary of the in depth creation process of a single episode of WTF. In fact, this is how the first episode came about. I followed senshi around for days, weathering the harsh and perilous journey(well he IS senshi). I did manage to pick up this spectacular footage though, so you may now all see into his creative genius!

Holy smoke! Documentary evidence, the most incontrovertible kind of evidence there is! I was sure that a great deal of Senshi's blood and sweat went into making WTF, but I never dreamed how much of it (or what other substances) was necessary! Bold work, A1! I smell a Peabody Award (that, or not all the brains have been swept up)!
