well I got this and all I have to say is the first part makes me very very sad....the 2nd half cheers me up somewhat...but not enough! NOT ENOUGH!

I hope they find a way to save Succubus. I am thinking Yang finds a real doctor or some sort of healer to get to...
On a brighter note the art and detail is beautifully done. Like really really beautiful. From the sweat/persperation from Yin's body to the detail of touch from Deadline's hands on Yin's breast. It is also so rare to clearly see the underside of breast...gravity represented well here. Simply beautiful...
Thanks for the comments on the artwork, I'm really glad you enjoyed it! I agree the team has done a great job with the script; now that issue #14 is released and #15 is already finished, the team will get started soon on #16, whose script was just finished up recently.
The bit about Succubus was tough to do. I went back and forth with Dave on this issue for a long time and saw the pros and cons. On the one hand, tickling is supposed to be fun, silly, and is often viewed as a childish activity. Thus bringing death into the mix can easily kill the fantasy. Wrapping a story around tickling does not always lend itself to serious storytelling. Not that it can't be done of course, it's just not a natural inclination. So there was that concern. But on the other hand (and this eventually won out), I want this comic universe to feel as real and plausible as possible. There are obviously some leaps of faith in the details of the world since it's science fiction, but the decisions and outcomes should still be based on the reality of human emotion and motive. Yin hates Succubus and Yin has shown signs of sociopath behavior before. Both of these things combined with having Succubus nearby naked and helpless lends itself to a terrible outcome.
I'm looking at Issue #15 right now, and (ok ya, a minor spoiler) Mister Nathan (the leader of this Agency) is not pleased to hear about Agent Succubus's demise. She is an unacceptable casualty. He takes an action which if you read between the lines and have read some of our other productions is a bit of a prelude to the our spinoff title
The Agencies: Frontiers. So what will happen there, and what is Mister Nathan's intentions? Will be fun to find out
🙂
It is shocking how good this series is. I just picked up my copy last night. I don't know how you do it, but you guys managed to make a book that is just too hot hot hot for words, and then you also have a story that's the most touching thing I've ever read in the tickle world. I won't go as far to say I cried lol but it was still just wow.
I absolutely love this artist the guy is the best you've ever used for tickle books. Agent Deadline with her little keds is the hottest thing ever. Only thing that compares is Starlight and she's in here too!! You need to do a story with just those 2 being foot tickled for days. I hope she's in the story a lot more. I seriously can't wait until #15 comes out. I am an official fanboy lol. Nice job
Hey, thanks a lot. I really appreciate that
🙂
For Starlight, you may want to check out The Agencies #9. It does show Starlight captured by Karma, her old friend, and foot tickle tortured for Karma's amusement. The torment continues into The Agencies #10 with an implied scene of drawn out torment when Miss Rachel Ghost goes to rescue Starlight.
I was talking to Lost One Zero and considering doing a series of pinups for The Cyriaan Chronicles based on fan feedback. If that project comes to fruitition and is met with some interest, I'd love to do the same for The Agencies, at which point we'd love to consider doing a scenario like you mentioned!
#15 will be out before you know it.
The art was great, and the tickling wasn't tooooo bad, I guess, but I just couldn't get into this at all. I think I might be getting less interested in comics over time or something...
Possibly. Becoming jaded is pretty common on the video side; it's safe to assume the affliction affects comic media, as well.
Our publications are rather stylized; they aren't going to be for everybody. It might just be the way we do things you don't like? It would be sad for me to lose you as a customer, but I don't like the thought of customers being constantly disappointed or disenfranchised by our work, either. During our production threads, feel free to ask me any questions you like about the book, to reduce the possibility of eventual disappointment.
I had high expectations with this issue. Wasn't let down. You guys do amazing work and 14 is no exception. It's great to see characters as they were when the series really took off. The artwork looks even more amazing now than it did then. Glad to see the series back on track. When's the next one?
Thank you, kindly
🙂 We will release The Agencies #15 in November. I don't have a more solid date than that. We will probably start posting the production thread pretty soon. That one will be a little odd (which we'll explain in the thread), just because it will have different artists yet again. Our plan is to have the team that did The Agencies #7-10, #14 do the rest of the series. But since #15 was completed a long time ago, I don't feel the need to redo it at this point in time.
Hope that helps!
