Wow...while I feel the previous artist and his team did his finest work for this series last issue, I gotta say I LOVED the way this turned out. Hands down this art is better then Javier's in a way. I feel the bodies are drawn in better detail then what Javier did. Or other previous artists. Javier's over the years and issues started to improve in some areas, But to me Jose captures those little things, like abs and what a finger pressed against skin would look like.

With that out of the way I think I can see what Tiffany's power could be. Or part of it. If i can guess..it is a little something like the healing power of laughter? Man I can not wait for the next chapter, good thing Hunted and Ruthless will come out to tide me over...Not really a comfort since they will also feed me with more want and wait!

I'm glad to hear it. Switching out artists, for whatever reason, is always risky. And we haven't always made the right decision when switching art teams on our comics in the past. I will be first in line to admit that. But we are trying to get better to ensure whoever the replacement is, raises the bar for our production quality. That isn't weird, corporate speak for "hey, look at us do things." We literally will not hire someone if they don't perform at a certain level relative to their peers. I'm glad you guys mostly like the results.

With that out of the way I think I can see what Tiffany's power could be. Or part of it. If i can guess..it is a little something like the healing power of laughter? Do you think Tiffany is the secret to unlocking the secrets of the universe, as Karma has been made to believe? If so, how? If not, why?

Tiffany's power:
We hinted at what her power is in The Agencies #22, but we never came out and really explained it. And funny that her power is partially revealed before her older sister's (Agent Starlight), even though her older sister has appeared in many, many of our issues. All part of the fun 🙂 (...and plan)

At any rate, we thought it would be fun to have a character similar to Agent Succubus, but also different in some subtle ways. Agent Succubus (God rest her soul) couldn't quite mind control people, but she could alter the emotional responses of those nearest to her. So if someone found her modestly attractive, she could seize that feeling and greatly amplify it, causing almost near obsession in her target. Tiffany's power works similarly in that it effects the emotional responses of an audience, but at the same time it is a little different. Remember those girls we all grew up with in grade school and junior high...the ones that would melt us with a single giggle? Tiffany's power is like that, but greatly amplified. Hearing her giggle can be enough to fall instantly in love with her. Although her giggle is her most powerful method of demonstrating her power, her power is about more than just her giggle.

She amplifies and acts as a conduit for all her strong emotional reactions. Her sense of grief would bring those around her to their knees. Her laughter causes joy to erupt, and those listening to laugh uncontrollably. Her singing lifts spirits, and God help any man that climaxes simultaneously with her during sex, likely his heart would burst from the result.

Given the above, what do you suppose happens if Karma were to tickle Tiffany relentlessly?

I wonder...have you been secretly actually showing Starlight's powers without us knowing a bit.

As for what would happen when, and not if at this point I think, Kharma does tickle Tiffany? I feel like Tiffany's powers would constantly bounce off of Kharma and Tiffany herself, building and building until it overwhelms even Kharma's powers, Kharma somehow weaponize it in some broadcasting fashion , or if constant use burns out poor Tiff. A combo of the two maybe...hopefully not.

Sorry the issue brought up some bad memories regarding Succubus. That was a tough thing to write into the story.

I wonder...have you been secretly actually showing Starlight's powers without us knowing a bit.

I do enjoy a fair amount of foreshadowing in my work 🙂

As for what would happen when, and not if at this point I think, Kharma does tickle Tiffany? This is page 1 of The Agencies #22, the long awaited issue where Tiffany is finally put in front of a feather! And fingers! And...as it turn out...hair! And in her underwear, no less. Oh, the humanity!

We find out some interesting things about Tiffany in this issue, and find out that The Tickler may not be so eager to stay a revolutionary with her sister Karma as we might've thought.

And spoiler alert: Tiffany laughs.

I'll see what I can do in the coming weeks. We're just starting production right now, so I will let that catch up a bit and hopefully I'll have something to share.
