We have a few announcements here. I'll start with the first, easy one.

Agency Publishing is going to ramp up its delivery times in 2011. This effort was started well back in 2010, but because of the lag of production times, you won't see its effect until...well...right now. For the last decade, we've had at most two simultaneous productions going. Now we have 5, with talks ongoing on starting up the 6th. That means we'll have more regular releases this coming year, and see how well demand is for them. If demand shrinks, we'll scale down. If demand remains steady, full speed ahead!

Second, I've decided to do away with the tickling rating on the books. It was an old device that helped me get back on track in the old days; I'm not as convinced of its usefulness anymore.

Third, The Agencies: Frontiers #2 is available to purchase right now from our website!

We released issue #1 back in summer 2009. This is the spin off from our flagship comic "The Agencies" Instead of an ongoing series, this one is slated for 10 issues, then the comic will end. It tells the story of three agents and how they recovered from a botched mission in the frontiers, which is no-man's land in this comic universe.

Oekaki-Tickles did all the artwork for issue #1. He has since moved on to new projects and a new art team has taken the helm for issue #2 and onward. This is the first book the penciler/inker has done with us, but the colorist has Tickle Magnet #2 under her belt.

Attached is the cover for this comic. This features Tess enjoying a rare bubble bath on the frontier. Tess is one of the settlers the agents were sent to protect in Issue #1. They are escorting back to safety throughout this series.

This is the first pinup for The Agencies: Frontiers #2.

On the left, Agent Shield is fully realized here in the moonlight in her pink haired glory, modestly charging up her power. Agent Shield, along with Agent White and Agent Crosshair, were tasked with escorting the settler family from the wilds of the Frontier back into civilization. Their mission is not as easy as they would've hoped.

On the right, Tess leans against the wall. Tess is a settler, someone who had lived peacefully under the protection of the agency, content to farm the land with her family. Without warning, her family was brutalized by a gang known only as "The Nine." The agency sent 3 agents to help them, but not before her husband and son were murdered. Now Tess, along with her daughters Ginny and Anya, hope to get back into the city before their luck runs out.

This is a sample from the interiors, taking the production process from beginning to end with pencils, then inks, then colors.

The penciler/inker is a born pinup artist, and sometimes it's difficult to make that transition from pinups to sequential art. I was pleased at the progress made throughout the issue, and am happy with what I'm seeing so far in Issue #3, currently in production. I think we've found a keeper with this art team. As you can see, the pencils are already sexy on the left panel here. By the time we get to the finished panel on the right, it's been through inks/colors, which makes it look even better.

The captions in the story are told in the perspective of Agent White, who is the voice throughout the story. Much of the events taking place are seen and reported through his eyes. I found it interesting although the fetish world is dominated by male presence, much of the tickle comics we fantasize about are populated by women. So it's interesting to surround a storyline around the male point of view, which is fairly common in the real world, not so much in the fantasy world.

Well, there art was awesome, that's for sure. Though I wish there was some straight tickling, and was less focused on the foot fetish and alternative styles, but that's just me.

Not personally a fan of this one, but I'm sure plenty will enjoy it.

Thanks for the heads up. When I first saw the post, I was thinking of buying it. Then I read your review. I like my tickle comics to actually having intense tickling in them, and not just the feet.

This issue definitely has all foot tickling with some foot fetishism thrown in for fun.

Not all issues in The Agencies: Frontiers will feature exclusive foot tickling/foot fetishism, but this one does.

Wow, thank you. This series will start off slow as it starts to introduce the story and its characters, but will take off and prove to be a nice fit within the lore of the comic universes.

That's a good question. We don't have solid release dates, but I'm trying to release the next installation of The Ruthless after Tickle Magnet #3, which is next up. So probably early spring is my best bet at this point. Ruthless is penciled/inked, it is now in coloring/lettering. And...it's a doozy. For those that liked Rylie's brief appearance in the last issue will really like the next issue.

Issue 7 of the Agencies featured an absolutely magnificent style of artwork (J.Giangiacomo/Ribero).

It would be neat to see another of those.

Definitely agreed. The Agencies #7 stands as one of my favorite issues in that line. Not the least of which was the artwork. They did the art for issues 7-10 then unfortunately had to move to other projects.

I have been in contact with the artist in recent times, but don't really wish to say anything until I have something tangible to report 🙂

I love her art style. It's fun, flirty, and sexy. Just awesome stuff. Good news there is that it's the art team for issue #3 and I'd like to keep her on that line as line as she's interested in working with us. So I'm very glad you like the art!
