Things are starting to get intense with Doctor Collins and the Witch Hunters.

We finally get to see Ariel starting her role as The Ruthless's "Boot of the Goddess." We haven't seen exactly what that entails, but if Ariel's prior sadistic streak is any indicator, Stacia's enemies are in for a surprise.

This is the second Ruthless issue written by Jonathan Essex. We welcome his vision of what happens to poor Doctor Collins with the Witch Hunters get hold of her. She honestly doesn't stand a chance to their cruel methods.

Doctor Collins, drooling, screaming with laughter, and desperate, tells the Witch Hunters everything she knows.

The ill-fated, billionaire celebrity psychologist is clearly broken after the Witch Hunters find her most ticklish spots and force her to shriek with helpless laughter.

But what happens if they don't believe her?

Like many people, I'm a fan of good action movies... and a few bad ones, no doubt. While action isn't the focus of "The Ruthless" (or any of Agency Publishing's comics), it's great to be able to inject some now and then. This issue was a great opportunity to do so and I really feel it adds some depth and tension to what's happening with (to?) Dr. Collins. She's a great character to write, especially if you're really feeling the urge to say some of the acidic things that pop into your head - Dr. Collins is unafraid to do so! She often rides a line between being amusingly uncensored and somewhat unlikable. It's perhaps the latter reason she's also a lot of fun to write into the situations she keeps finding herself in. 🙂

Hope everyone enjoys the issue. As always, props to the art team. My words don't mean much without them! 🙂

Here is page 1 of The Ruthless #12, our newest release. Here we see Ariel after her long, long ordeals in The Ruthless's dungeons. She has now passed her test, and is the Boot of the Goddess, Stacia's right-hand woman on Earth while the goddess explores the outer regions of space and time. Ariel has proven herself to be a rather cruel character, so this increase in power should prove interesting to the denizens of Earth.

Doctor Collins is also in the cluthes of the Witch Hunters, how much will she spill about her former patient, Stacia (otherwise known as The Ruthless) ?

Another amazing issue!! 🙂 I love that collins got taken by the medieval dudes and tortured for a very long time. She had it coming!! And i love Stacias slippersin her room lulz

Your observations about Doctor Collins are interesting. She is a rather unlikable character. She was messing with Stacia during her psychiatric sessions, tortures innocents with Stacia for sadistic pleasure, but can't take it (she'd threatened Stacia with leaving in one of our short stories if Stacia ever tickled her like that again). Yet, fans still like her for some of these reasons, and how these personality traits would react when she undergoes the feather herself.

I also like your blend of action in this book. Both traditional action with the Witch Hunter hit squad finding Stacia, playing out alongside the tickling action carried out in the Witch Hunter dungeons. It's somewhat unprecedented, done very well, and complements the storyline beautifully.

Heh, we're not quite a cartoon. Not yet. Somehow, I don't know that our content would pass muster for a Saturday morning kids show. Maybe if we agreed to reduce the amount of nipples shown...
