Yelena: Issue One erotic tickling comic book

This comic is called Yelena and it follows the adventures of a bi-sexual, tickle fetishist witch living in the modern day. I don't really know what the inspiration for this was. I guess I just don't see eastern European women offered as a focus for much of anything, and thought it would be cool if I had a protogonoist with strong eastern European and Russian roots.

We released this comic book back in September, I've just been lazy about promoting it until now 🙂

These stories will chronicle different adventures with Yelena. Although I had intended to keep everything in the modern day, I could see the exploration of her formers lives as good story time fodder.

This is the first time I've ever worked with this particular artist. I was so impressed by his initial representation of Yelena I immediately penned what is now issue #1 in just a couple hours. It was a very primal, very inspired exercise, and I kind of liked how it turned out.

Yelena is having a secret affair with a world famous supermodel, and this first issue deals with their relationship a bit.

This is Yelena and Gretchen. Gretchen is the supermodel lover that Yelena has fallen deeply for. Issue One goes into a little bit of how they meet, but is mostly about fulfilling a fantasy of both of them.

Here's a beginning pencil sketch of Yelena.

And finally onto some of the tickling!
This series shows the various stages that one of the scenes went through. Because this scene shows a mix of tickling and orgasmic ecstasy, it's sometimes difficult to convey that properly. The bottom right panel is what finally went into the book. But as you can see, there were a few other interpretations of how the characters should be represented. Eyes open, eyes closed, nuzzling, kissing, feather, no feather.

Thank you LeatherFeather. It's encouraging to hear people's reactions to both the artwork and the story itself. We worked hard to pump this book out, and I'm personally very happy with the results. Not all our books turn out the way I original envision, but this one definitely did!

I really like this sketch, more so than the rest of it oddly, I think its the eyes. Very nice work 🙂

Same here! To the point where I considered producing a non-colored, non-inked comic book, and seeing how that turned out. There's just something in this guy's sketches that is really amazing. The sketches with Yelena and Gretchen turned out really well the first time, and the sketch of Kirsta (additional character in #2) turned out great the first time, too.

Okay, this is a comic book that excites me. The femmes fatale is hot but doesn't adhere to a truck driver's fantasy (i.e. women so artificially enhanced that they'd melt in close proximity to a radiator). I can relate to her bisexuality and, finally, you've rendered images of female nudity that the medium had previously forfeited (in regard to the pencil drawings, I'm split between the orgasmic expression and the hysterical laughter; I'd prefer a collage of both!). And I love the cover (Yelena peeling-off her teeny bikini lingerie; please append some longevity to strapless bikini and nude artwork, they're both faves of your intended demographic). Her "witch" alter ego could prompt some definite crossover (horror & fantasy addicts, don't underestimate 'em...seriously, I've attended conventions where the fanboys would be absolutely impassioned with your images. Women are generically--and literally--painted as sidekicks, not predators like the tempestuous Yelena). Gretchen should infectiously draw CW network aficionados; unlike the cable network, you have the liberty of exhibiting Gretchen in the buff.

Get off your lazy butts and promote this commerce! Hit the convention circuit, pound the internet and contact Diamond Comics (Steve Geppi, prez). Hell, send me a copy and I'll plug it in my Arrow in the Head column (which debuts in early January). Yelena and Gretchen could definitely swim mainstream. And, hey, save a couple of autographed pencil drawings and related art--the fans would definitely buy into 'em (reserve a couple of nudes for me!--don't toss 'em!).

Great work, guys--now launch into a p.r. blitz, will ya?

Footnote: I immodestly inserted some shots of yours truly; you see, I had a Yelena in mind when posing for tickle-related photography. You've definitely struck a chord.

I should insert one very critical caveat to everything I say. I created Yelena, but I did not do the art. I was just the author/director. I don't want to take credit for the artwork. That prize goes to Cristian. And man he did a great job.

I've always loved writing strong women. I've never liked the whole "strong male lead with beautiful female decoration in the background" bit. It's been done, so it's cool to see so many quality tickling comics come out in recent years that shows good female leads that are more than just fetish objects.

These are sublime. I see you've a gift for modeling. If I ever get around to making a live action version of Yelena (one of 4000 projects rattling around in my head) I definitely know who to contact. Your look and initial personality reminds me very strongly of the new Yelena character to show up in issue #2: Gretchen's best friend from childhood. She's a redhead and a young movie starlet that just got her big break when issue #2 begins.

My congratulations to yourself and Cristian for a character that transcends "window dressing"; no doubt, Yelena will prove iconic among fetish aficionados.

I've posted a few more pictures but I'm not yielding to any sort of modeling conceit; I'd only like to reaffirm my affinity for the likes of Yelena and Gretchen (and "Gretchen's best friend from childhood."). Ironically, in the Red Riding Hood video, I'm cooked--quite literally--by a hybrid of a witch and the Big Bad Wolf (see storyboarded photo, far right). Tickling is compromised as a culinary option for tenderizing me!

Incidentally, Cristian's cover art seduced me but the torrid pencil rendering of the feathered nipple proved the hook!

Fantastic pictures you've posted; I can't wait to see how your various projects materialize in the coming months! I've never personally seen tickling used as a method of effective meat tenderization but it is a fascinating hybrid of two seemingly incompatible goals.

"Born" little more than one month ago, this chick already has the hubris to kick (fanboy) ass; I have a feeling that she may have prophesized our communication (the spaghetti-strap gowns, the coiffures...). Thanks so much for the preview!

I combined tickling with female carnivores (i.e. women with a "taste" for other beautiful women) because--well, I'll clarify in a PM. Naturally, witches are conductors for this sort of activity; the timing is ripe for such a fusion.

Your collaboration with Cristian is also a flawless fusion; hot, chic women who circumvent a Kardashian-style of venality (that tribe is undiluted sleaze). You may very well crack open the door for translating "tickle torment" into a civilized option for seduction/B&D. It all requires only a bit of patience and lots of marketing.

BellybTickler: There's a treat in Red Riding Hood, christened "Navel Stew", that's quite delicious and well worth whipping-up. The most critical ingredient is a babe (I was the prototype, served-up in the buff and tethered to a table).

(1.) Clean out the lint with a Q-Tip (rotate very slowly); subsequently cleanse with projectiles of freezing water (agonizingly dispensed with a sprayer). This entire Step #1 drove me to blinding hysterics (my own navel is extremely ticklish).

(2.) Drop tiny particles of ice within the belly button, then fill to capacity with ice cold champagne. Shake some parsley flakes, or your own preferred repast, into the navel's vortex and seal with adhesive tape.

Allow to set for 2-3 minutes. After your intended "dinner" nearly laughs/screams herself to the point of passing out, the meal is ready to be served.
