Greetings and saluatation, all you out there in Tickle Land. It's time for another production preview of Agency Publishing's latest tickle torture comic book.
In May, we will be releasing Yelena #2.
You can find a link to the first issue here http://www.the-agencies.com/yelena/issue_one.htm. It was met with great customer and critical acclaim. Issue #1 was the simple story of a 600 year old witch named Yelena who found a way to freeze the aging process and make herself immortal. Since that time she's had many adventures in many different times. She has a powerful tickle fetish and finds herself in the modern day United States.
It is there she has met her latest partner: a world famous supermodel named Gretchen. In order to avoid the tabloids, they have decided to keep their relationship a secret. In issue #1, Yelena explores Gretchen's many, many ticklish spots.
Now issue #2 begins, and the pair are stronger than ever. Yelena decides to accompany Gretchen to a shoot in California. The two arrive and decide to pay one of Gretchen's childhood friends a visit. This visit turns out to be more than any of them could have imagined.
This production time is closer to the times I want to have between issues from here on out. Yelena #1 came out September 2008, so it's been 8 months between releases.
I really like this comic series. I like it because it's a good break from the more serious, tickle torture heavy series like The Agencies or The Ruthless. That's not to say there won't be any of that in this comic line at all. As a matter of fact, there are a group of people called The Witch Hunters that have been hunting Yelena for centuries, and they are as sadistic as they come. They will play a role in this comic line eventually. But more on that later =) For now, the story is fun just exploring the sexual adventures of a bi-sexual witch.
This issue will be 12 pages, just like issue #1.
This book has the same art team that completed issue #1. Production is nearly finished. We're waiting on a few touch ups here and there, and the pinup needs to be finalized.
As mentioned briefly above, there is a new character on the scene in issue #2. Kirsta is Gretchen's best friend from childhood. The two had separated when Kirsta'a acting career and Gretchen's modeling career had both taken off and demanded more of their time. With this post I'm attaching a pencil -> colors evolution of Kirsta. More postings of production to follow!
