I agree that it was a stupid thing to do, but on another hand I feel bad for the guy. How trapped do you have to feel to do something like this? I mean, I know it's not as bad as suicide, but I look at it similarly. When someone kills themself all I think is, how can someone be that sad? How trapped must they have felt? Did they really not see ANY other way? That's how I feel about this guy. He really felt like there was NO other way, and all because he didn't want his crazy wife to hurt herself. It's sad.

I mean sure he should do some time but I don't wonder if 3 years was a bit much? Maybe 6 months and then court ordered therapy (cause you have to be a least a LITTLE touched in the head to do something like that...)
