You think a tickling fetish is weird....

My, that fetish is almost as absurd as wanting to see women screaming in uncontrolable laughter because they have been touched.

Yah, thats true, Myriads. I didnt think of it that way. What I really meant to say is that I personally am turned off by such a fetish, but Iam well aware that there are such fetishes as diapers, golden showers, enemas, and such, and respect those who have such fetishes. All I really wanted to point out was for myself, I would find being personally involved in such a fetish a turn off, but if others want to engage in it, more power to em. Sorry if I came off condescending or judgemental. I didnt mean to be. My point was that I find that fetish a turn off. What others do with it, is their business.

During my research for a sex lexicon, I've run across a lot of almost incredible fetishes, like balloon-popping, crushing insects or food with bare feet or high heels, farting, lifting/carrying other people, inserting pencils into the penis, and more.

IMO, it's all okay as long as it is done with a consenting, adult partner. Only those who force their fetish on an unwilling person are sick.

We've got a saying here in Germany: Cats like their mice uncooked, I prefer them well-done... 😛

i agree. there are far more worse and sicker fetishes out there online that people are into besides Snot and Nose picking. so whatever floats peoples boats that is all i gotta say.
 
I'm not applying too much in the way of rumination vis-a-vis the 'snot' thing. If I did, I'd probably become quite nauseous.

I don't subscribe to the supposition that all fetishes are equal. I believe there are degrees of departure from the norm that are difficult to measure I'll grant, but there nonetheless. Simply put, I think some fetishes depart from the norm more radically than others, and in that grand scheme tickling is pretty mild.

Think about it. If you define tickling as "the touching or stroking of the body parts of another to stimulate an excess of pleasure, manifested by an involuntary convulsive reaction," you can see the close parallel to vanilla sex. The degree of departure is minimal. Can the same be said for brown and golden showers?

I do agree that as long as the more extreme fetishes are acted out consensually, it's cool. I disagree with laws that tell consenting adults how to have fun, even if it involves urine and/or excrement. It's not evil. It's just...well...weirder than tickling, that's all.

I am perfectly happy to have consenting adults doing something in private (such as a snot fetish or brown showers) that I find to be disgusting. Let them pursue happiness in their own way. 😀
