your best of obscure television?

Speaking of HBO~I liked Carnivale although it took me awhile to get into it. John From Cincinnati blew my mind~I managed to find the series on DVD thank God but I was heartbroken when they didn't pick it up for a 2nd season and said absolutely nothing about it.
XOXO

I liked watching Eastbound & Down on HBO. The show is a bit like watching a train wreck, but I still like it. I'm not sure if it's getting a second season, I hope it does.

I enjoy watching ''Are You Being Served?''.I can't explain why I like that rediculous show but I find it hilarious.I'm fucked up. :sowrong:

I love British comedies. "Are you being Served?" is one of the best.

and forever Knight is awesome...

For me, Canadian shows are hit and miss. I watched Forever Knight every now and then, but it didn't really strike a chord with me. The writing wasn't as good as it could have been.

Going with the analogy of foreign shows, I want to throw my hat into the ring for two of my personal favourites.

Blue Heelers. It was a very low budget Austrailian police drama that took place in a small town. The writing was excellent and all the characters were fully fleshed out... I also developed a thing for officer Doyle.

My Hero. From Britain. I don't know when it began its run or how long it lasted but this is probably the only sitcom in history that guaranteed me to laugh my ass off at least twice per episode...I don't laugh much.

Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job - John C. Reilly as Dr. Steve Brule

I just remembered another one~"sex, love and secrets"~it runs on UniversalHD. For some bizarre reason, my TiVo has mysteriously taped only 2 episodes. What's weird is that I'm the only one in the house who ever touches the damn thing and I've never heard of it.
According to my lamebrain web search:

Originally, 13 episodes were commissioned, but the order was reduced to eight. Of these, only four were aired before the series was cancelled.

It's an ensemble cast featuring a couple of well knowns (Denise Richards, Jake Busey) but mostly quietly talented unknowns (gorgeous Eric Balfour from Six Feet Under) and adorable chocolate teddy bear Omar Benson Miller as a once promising football superstar who blew out his knee just before his stellar career got kicked off.
XOXO

Drew

I don't know.

However, I refuse to sit in the same room with 'John & Kate Plus 8'. The most sanctimonious, annoying piece of shit ever to hit the airwaves.

Dead Like Me (Cancelled after 2 seasons)

I loved that show! The girl that played Georgia was cast perfectly. Unfortunately, the alternate plotline with the mom and sister really brought the entire show to a screeching halt.

Was that the one with the chick who played the molested daughter in Stephen King's Delores Claiborn? What the heck happened to her voice?
XOXO

Dead Like Me (Cancelled after 2 seasons), Superjail!, Daria.

Black Books

Does It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia count as obscure?
