How did bugman become bugman, why is milagros milagros, when did CrystalLight realize that she was CrystalLight? What about Alchemy, Strider, Ming, etc?

By 1998, Doctors one to eight were already there. So, not forseeing a ninth any time soon, I became the Ninth Doctor, used it largely ever since.

I was sitting there, filling out the sign up thingiee for this site.

Sat for a minute and thought about it.

Went with the first thing that popped into my head. ;D

I was stumped when thinking of a screen name when I joined here so I just used my real name spelled backwards.
 
Mine is super lame and I hate it.

But what do you expect? I signed up when I was like 15.
 
My nickname has always been Rob Ace. From when I DJed, to just around with friends...they always called me Ace.
The 252 was the old area code I lived in.
I just did not want to change again when I moved to my new 706 area code.

Not much mysterious here. Used to be Slowpoke on CB radio years ago, then when I started on the IRC I was changed to Pokey by a person I met on line (they liked Pokey better it was shorter, lol). I got off the IRC for a while and when I got back on Pokey was taken many times over so, living in Michigan I became PokeyinMich(igan). For those that need help getting to sleep, this was for you!!

I became 'P4E' because of my PC, Pentium 4 Extreme edition...

...well, it was until lightening hit the TV Aerial on the roof of our house, which was connected to my PC's TV Card...and kinda blew my PC...

£1800 down the drain in one lightening bolt...only thing I salvaged was my hard drive...but only just. 🙁
 
Tomskeemask is actually a rapper from Memphis. My college buddies were huge fans of his. We just associated the name with a cool badass persona and a tough guy swagger.

I'm pretty sure I was assigned this name. I joined TMF back in August 2002 when we could just enter the old insecure chatroom with the trolls, and type in whatever name. Most of the time I typed in Mitch to get in there, but there was another Mitch, Mitch J, I believe, and I think that when we moved to the new secure room I just became Mitchell. Then, when my posts started piling up, Myriads told me it was difficult to change my name, so I stayed as Mitchell. I had really wanted to be Ladderlad after a while, so since I couldn't change names, Mimi made me my Ladderlad signature.

My name's Aragorn's alias in Lord of the Rings. I can't actually remember where I first used it, but somewhere along the line, it became my handle on any message board I'd register on.

In some ways, it doesn't really fit me anymore, but I'm too lazy to come up with something else.

When I was a kid, the F16 Fighting Falcon was my favorite fighter aircraft. When I went into the Air Force after high school, and was first stationed at Nellis AFB here in Vegas (Home of the Fighter Pilot), I was in heaven. I got to watch them take off and land all the time and there was nothing like seeing/hearing them launch out for training runs. I also got to watch the Thunderbirds (who use F16's) all the time since they are home based at Nellis. I just took the name Falcon because of that and also because they are a strong bird of prey, which helps me maintain my self-confidence, which I don't have a lot of. LOL! I use a different spelling of my name with an "h" in the middle of it for my Wiccan purposes (Fahlcon). That's about it from me.

What's in a name?

I originally was "Fingerfeathers" back when I first signed up in like '02. It was fine as far as handles go, but there was another member by the name of "Featherfingers" for whom I was constantly being mistaken.

After nearly 4 years, it finally dawned on me that I should probably pick a new name. Quick thinking, I know!

So, being that I play piano for a living, "Ivory Tickler" seemed like a no-brainer. 🙂

Oh, and as for a few of you:

ANNIE HALL (formerly "TicklishGiggle"): Funny... I never thought of your old name as "lame" since you are very much "not-lame". In that respect, I believe you made it genuine and real by being genuine and real yourself!

Course, with that being said... LOVE the new name!

KERED: I feel like such an idiot for not figuring yours out! Seriously! Haha!

CRYSTAL LIGHT: Too bad.. "Anal Retentive" is wayyyy hotter than "Crystal Light". Maybe it's still available... you should consider looking into it! 😉
